I like to use regular after my initial flow, and hate when I have to buy 2 boxes at a time. So, this option works perfectly for me. The Tampax pearl applicators are amazing, and put the old applicators of the past to shame. These are easy to insert, with a nice smooth flow. I would indeed recommend.

For longer than I can remember there was never a "heavy flow" variety pack so I'd have to buy multiple boxes, separately yet there was always light, regular , and heavy for the other girlies. This was made for those of us that bleed like a waterfall. No more worrying about leaks or having to buy several large boxes for one cycle.

They are small and convienet enough where they will fit into any bag i decide to carry. I absolutely love that this pack comes with three different sizes and absorbancies. So concierge and i don’t have to buy multiple packs for different days.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is so convenient to have 3 sizes in one pack, and the comfort level of the plastic applicator can't be beat. The "leakguard" technology they mention is just a nicely braided string, but so far it has been surprisingly effective. I wish I had these in my earlier days, because it would have made life so much more stress free. I do wish that they would not make the outer wrappers with white as the base color. It would be so much better if they were a dark color like black or navy to blend in with your jeans. I don't particularly care if people see me holding a tampon, but I also don't feel I have to broadcast it in a crowded office or restaurant, and it would be nice to be able to stick a dark blue or black wrapper in my jeans pocket and be on about my business without any fuss.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These Tampax Pearl Trio are are absorbent. The plastic applicator has an anti-slip grip that makes it easy to insert and remove. Having the trio of options within the one pack makes it nice because not everyday and every flow is the same.

I'm a heavy bleeder so I turned to the ultra protection. After two hours of usage on day 2, which is heavy day, it leaks. I put another one and it leaks again. This product is unreliable. I don't know if it's the plastic applicator that effects the cotton absorbtion. Is it the way my body is shaped? I dont know. It's one of the worst choices for me out there. I find "others disposable applicators a better choice

I have a very heavy flow and have had issues with leakage previously with other brands. I haven’t had one incident with the tampax pearl. These are comfortable and a reliable product.
