It prevents any leakage from creeping down the string and staining your underwear. Another small but very important feature I like is the textured design at the base of the applicator. It helps in maintaining a grip on the applicator as it’s being inserted. Overall these are the best out there!

The tampax pearl are the best! They hold so much and it feels like you are even on your period on your heaviest days. These are amazing I will never switch brands ever. I reccommend them to all of my friends and they agree with me, We are all very satisfied!!!

In the past I would always feel like a leak has happened. Probably because it happened bad once before. This tampon has held up wonderful. Also, happy that it is not bulky feeling. I have a very heavy flow, and typically use the super on heavy days, but these are always a better fit. I love that these have the more plastic stretchy pouch they come in too, so you can place the applicator back in and its a little more discreet/

I have always had super heavy periods....needless to say I have always felt uncomfortable and dirty but not with these tampons.... I feel clean there is no mess and best of all I don't need to wear a panty liner too! I live a fast paced, very active life of a college freshman.
