When I noticed that my favorite tampon maker, Tampax Pearl, started making ultra absorbency I HAD to try them right away. I have been using Platex Ultra tampons over the past couple of years because they are amazing, but really missed my Pearls. Well, I am very disappointed. There is a big difference between the two brands and it looks like once I finish the two boxes of Pearls it is back to Platex. Sorry Tampax . My three daughters feel the same way as I do. If you make a change in the Ultra's I am willing to try them again.

I've never been a tampon user before. I tried it on a whim because working out while wearing a pad is just plain uncomfortable! It did feel a bit uncomfortable at first. But I assume that was simply because I wasn't use to it. I've tried it a couple more times and so far I'm sold. I'm use to the feeling. I haven't noticed any leak problems. I threw on a liner just incase, but so far so good!

I’m so glad I’ve found them again, though! These are the most comfortable and most absorbent tampons I’ve ever used. I really like the applicator as well. Nothing else is as easy to use.

I absolutely love the pearl! I recommend the plastic applicator rather than the cardboard. The plastic glides in very well and lasts a long time while still being comfortable. I am a college student, so I don't always have time to change tampons, so therefore, I always choose the pearl. I highly recomend this over the cardboard app if you're a newer tampon user since it's so easy to insert, and last for several hours!
