I have been using Tampax Pearl for a few years. The last two boxes I have purchased have been defective. When I tried to remove the tampon, the string pulled right off. This caused major embarrassment on a few different occasions. I've never used anything but Tampax, but I think I'll be switching brands after this.

I live a fast paced, very active life of a college freshman. While in High School, I realized that Tampax Pearl was an excellent product to keep me from worrying about volleyball games, and other high school activities. This is one product that has followed me into my college life, and has never let me down. Let's face it --- the monthly "visit" is not something any girl enjoys --- but with a product like Tampax Pearl, it certainly takes the hassle and worry out of going on with your life !!!

Tampax Pearls are the best tampon. I have tried numerous brands and nothing is as simple and comfortable as the Pearl. Half the battle with the tampon is ease of use and comfort, and Pearl exceeds the mark. They also hold up extremely well as far as absorbency. I will always use Pearls for this particular need.

I bought a box of these while on a trip and needed them last minute. I used one and noticed an hour later, that the string had shredded into several skinnier strings and they were all diffrenent sizes..some being very long. I got rid of that one thinking it was just messed up, then used another. It did the same thing. I've never had tampons do this. I will never buy these again.

I recently bought the pearl tampon by mistake, (I usually use the "cardboard"), and I must say how disappointed I am in your product. I find the smell offensive and stinky. I also noticed that the new tampon doesnot last as long, now I'm changing my tampon every 3 hours as compared to four. I don't want to add any more plastic waste to our environment. I wish I could ask for a refund, but like I said, I bought the pearl by mistake and can not find the store receipt. Please tell me you are not discontuing the card board tampons! Yes, please contact me, and bring back the cardboard tampon without the smell.!!!

I have extremely heavy periods, and have had problems with leaking for years. I go through an ultra tampon in 1 1/2 hours. I've always had to wear pads as well, because I'd leak all over the place otherwise. I'm so so happy I tried these! I don't leak anymore! They're really great, finally someone designs tampons for a woman's shape!

Can honestly say whoever invented the shape of these must have been a man! I feel like my insides are being pulled out trying to remove these they are so uncomfortable! They dont sit right so flow is concentrated to one side & causes leakage & frequent changes much prefer original design only good thing is soft plastic applicator combine that with old style and will be a winner!

I hate the pearl tampon applicator. I prefer the cardboard applicator. The pearl applicator is too short and most of time it gets wet and slippery so that you can not get it to work properly. So you end up with the half of the tampon sticking out. I think they are more expensive then the cardboard applicator and it does not even work as well.

Nice and simple to use. Will be able to use for a couple cycles.
