I opened up a Tampax Pearl and compared it to another brand I was using. I was really surprised to see how differently they open up inside you. No wonder some of them leak. A Tampax expands better so it has a snugger fit. I don't have a very heavy period; I did not have any leaks with the regular absorbency.

My daughters said they felt kind of rough. They are very sensitive to fragrances and materials so maybe they need to try a smaller size.

These tampons are pretty absorbent for being regulars! They seem to have advanced leakage protection, as I've never experienced any significant leakage. They are comfortable, so much so that you have to remind yourself to remove the tampon. I highly recommend this brand and type of tampon!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm not too big into wearing these type of disposable menstrual products, but when I do wear them it's in the summer time for swimming! They hold up great, comfortable to put in, take out, while wearing and are easy to use.

I prefer Tampax pearl tampons over other brands. They are super absorbent and comfortable compared to other designs. The leak protection is great and you typically won't have any accidents unless it's a misjudgment on your flow. I do like the variety packs but wish they had more less regulars and a few more super/super+. You can get these scented or unscented. The scented is very mild and isn't noticeable to anyone but the wearer. I prefer the unscented myself. I gave 4-star because the Tampax radiant have the same absorbency but are more much more comfortable.

They also absorb nicely and I've never had to worry about leaks. Comfort and peace of mind are definitely important when on your period.
