I thought these might be small chunky tomato bits in sauce, but it was more like a thick tomato puree. Still very good & tasty with a hint of basil flavor... just a little different than I expected. And the can size was a Big surprise; I didn't notice they were big 28 oz. cans (not 16 or 20 oz.) so a Good bargain, too.

I recently moved to Nevada from Long Island, NY only to find out I could no longer purchase my favorite tomato sauce here in Nevada. Fortunately for me I checked Sam’s Club online to see if it was available for home delivery. I placed the order and wellaa I am now the happy cook once again. Thank you so much Sam’s club.

These canned tomatoes not only add complex tomato flavor to my recipes, they thicken the sauce/gravy. I use tis product for stews, pasta sauce, and casseroles; there is never a watery excess that you might see in regular canned tomato products. My husband loves them for his incredible Indian dishes too!

While the case of Tuttorosso Tomatoes was packed as pictured, each of the 8 cans was dented. Meaning they were dented BEFORE they were packed. The box they were packed in was in perfect condition and the delivery was great, but I never buy dented cans of tomatoes and now I am stuck with 8!

This is a good product. No complaining on it. However, like so often the case the cans were too damaged to use. Of the eight cans, six were dented or crushed badly and one had a minor dent. Only one was unblemished. As usual, the shipping boxes were undamaged and there appeared to be adequate packing material. The only conclusion I can come to each time is that the product was damaged during handling at the distribution center. Unless a canned good is only available for shipping I recommend not buying it.

The delivery arrived in perfect condition! Every can is perfect! I've been ordering these wonderful tomatoes for years and every single order has arrived with terribly dented cans. Often the outer box and product packaging was perfect but when inspecting the cans there were huge dents on the inner sides, almost as if they intentionally shrink wrapped damaged cans to sell. This time everything was perfect. I'm very happy. Hopefully Sam's has been reading our comments and has taken corrective measures to improve the shipping process.

I read the reviews and saw that many reviews said the cans were dented. I have ordered these tomatoes before and had maybe two cans a little bit of dent. This time all 8 cans were severely dented so the can opener will not open them. They are packaged that way at the factory placing all the dents on the inside. The outside looked fine and then I opened the wrap and all the dents were in the inside. Why would they package these throw away cans and then try to sell them. Sam's has to have better quality control. There is no reason for this to happen and sams does nothing to improve it. Sam's club is not what it used to be. If BJs and Cosco weren't so far away I'd join that club and leave Sam's. Get with it people
