These crushed tomatoes with basil are very good/flavorful. I have used them in the following:a chili recipe, a pasta dish and in a ground turkey meatloaf. The cans were a little dented when they arrived, but this did not affect the sauce. There is a good amount of crushed tomato sauce in each can, so I divided a can of sauce and stored the extra in a covered glass bowl in my fridge for less than a week.This worked out well; I would purchase this product again.

These canned tomatoes not only add complex tomato flavor to my recipes, they thicken the sauce/gravy. I use tis product for stews, pasta sauce, and casseroles; there is never a watery excess that you might see in regular canned tomato products. My husband loves them for his incredible Indian dishes too!
