Used to work great

This machine has been very reliable until today. Now, when I tried to turn it on, it beeps 5 times like the brew cycle is over and it hasn't even begun. I tried to google the issue and the a couple of videos show taking the bottom of the machine off and cleaning out the pieces parts. I have never seen the likes of these type of screws. They have 3 slots and are neither a standard or Phillips head screw. I have always been a loyal Mr Coffee user, but I will need to buy a new machine today and this experience disheartens me. Haven't even had the machine for a year. My previous Mr Coffee laste more than 5 years.

Crapped out

I bought the red 12 cup coffee programmable about six months ago when I redid my kitchen I cleaned it with white vinegar in town for the holidays came back and I can't get it to program clock I've dealt with Mr. coffee for many many years I've tried resetting it and still nothing, thank goodness I still have my old mr coffee that is just a plug in and click on ,but I need to know what you can do about the one that cost triple the amount.. please and thank you..

leaks

I bought this a month ago. water leaks out the back through the hole. Coffee somehow runs out the bottom. The plate has burnt coffee on it as soon as the pot is done brewing. It needs to be scrubbed every time a pot of coffee is made. This just isn't worth the money with all the mess it's causing.

just stopped brewing

Had this less than a year. Worked perfectly until this morning- then -Nothing. Everything looks like it is working, but brew beep came on like it had finished and had not even started. Tried on several outlets still not working. Out in the trash now. looked up online and find this is a problem it seems with this coffeemaker. Wish I had read it sooner. We have had several .Mr Coffees and they do not last long at all like they used to.

My favorite coffee maker!

I bought this coffee maker about a month ago. My favorite feature is that it's programmable. It has made my mornings so much easier because I get it all ready the night before and when I wake up I have a fresh pot of coffee. Unfortunately the glass pots are very brittle and I noticed mine had a crack in it this morning, rendering the coffee maker useless.

Nice features but...

I bought this a few months ago. It worked well until one of the coffee filters had a hole in it and I didn't notice it. Because the water reservoir is in the same area as the coffee filter, some grounds got into the reservoir and clogged things up. Cleaning it was a real nightmare.

Great function then just stopped working

I bought this coffee maker 6 months ago, and every morning the programing feature was wonderful, till just a few days ago it just stopped working. Turn it on and it just beeps, its clean and clear, but wont heat the plate or the water. Just beeps three times.

Not built to last

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We received this JWX Series 12-cup coffeemaker as a gift at Christmas 2018. Here it is Jan. 2020, and it's dead. The lights turn on, but the water doesn't up into the filter and therefore, no coffee. This comes not too long after Mr. Coffee had to replace our coffee bean grinder because that, too, crapped out after less than a year. I'm not sure what is going on with manufacturing because, prior to that, our older models lasted quite a long time, which is why we desired to stick with the brand name. That trust is eroding rapidly.

Awful tasting cofee

Title says it all...even at "strong coffee" level, it tastes like the beans just ran past the water and never mingled. When taking out the used filter it appears all the water pours straight into the middle of the grounds, and they spread out, so that the rest of the water doesn't even hit the grounds, but goes just straight through the filter...Also this model is too tall for the space between my counter and cabinets. so I have to pull it out to use it, and then push it back in... Will be returning it to place of purchase

Replacement gone bad

This coffee maker was sent as a replacement for the first one that went bad and now it has gone bad. Wont brew won't clean won't do anything. It was sent to us July 23rd 2018 but did not get it until some time in August. It went out a few weeks ago and we have been letting it sit unplugged to see if maybe it got wet in side or something but still does not work. I doubt MR. Coffee will replace this because it is a few weeks past warranty. I should have called when it first stopped working but thought I had time.
