Within the first year, we had a coffee disaster when the little plastic piece that keeps the coffee going into the carafe broke and we had a stream of coffee in the kitchen when the filter basket overflowed while on timed brew. The unit was replaced by the manufacturer. Now, less than 3 years later, all of the programmable features suddenly quit working...no clock, no warning, no reset, no nothing. If you are willing to fork out $ 39.99 for a coffeemaker avery 2 or 3 years, then buy this one. We will be buying something else.

This is the second Mr Coffee maker I've bought in 2 years. Bother quit working after a few months of use. Seems to be the same issue with both. Thermostat or termination switch went out in both machines. Poor quality parts. After reading reviews it appears that customers are experiencing the same issues. Mr coffee should replace these units free of charge and look into using another brand of switch. I will buy a new coffee maker but it will not be Mr. Coffee.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had several over the years that quit for a variety of reason. I always got a warranty replacement up until now. We only make 1 pot per day and have cleaned whenever the "clean light" comes on. They just don't last very long.

We bought this coffee maker for our vacation home about 18 months ago. It gets used maybe 3 - 4 months out of the year. Went on vacation and during the first week, it stopped brewing. Tried unplugging it and plugging it back in, turning it off and on....nothing. I loved the look of the coffee maker....but I need it to make coffee for more than a couple of months

I bought the red 12 cup coffee programmable about six months ago when I redid my kitchen I cleaned it with white vinegar in town for the holidays came back and I can't get it to program clock I've dealt with Mr. coffee for many many years I've tried resetting it and still nothing, thank goodness I still have my old mr coffee that is just a plug in and click on ,but I need to know what you can do about the one that cost triple the amount.. please and thank you..

I bought this a month ago. water leaks out the back through the hole. Coffee somehow runs out the bottom. The plate has burnt coffee on it as soon as the pot is done brewing. It needs to be scrubbed every time a pot of coffee is made. This just isn't worth the money with all the mess it's causing.

I bought this a month ago, loving the esthetic look of the machine. Every morning I curse as i go to fill the machine with water because the "shower head" is in the way, making the water delivery gap small, and with the carafe size, awkward to fill. Water spills daily. I hate this machine. I wish I would've purchased the basic tried and true unit for half the price!

Had this less than a year. Worked perfectly until this morning- then -Nothing. Everything looks like it is working, but brew beep came on like it had finished and had not even started. Tried on several outlets still not working. Out in the trash now. looked up online and find this is a problem it seems with this coffeemaker. Wish I had read it sooner. We have had several .Mr Coffees and they do not last long at all like they used to.

I bought this coffee maker about a month ago. My favorite feature is that it's programmable. It has made my mornings so much easier because I get it all ready the night before and when I wake up I have a fresh pot of coffee. Unfortunately the glass pots are very brittle and I noticed mine had a crack in it this morning, rendering the coffee maker useless.

This is just one of the best coffee makers I have bought. Coffee tastes great without that burnt coffee taste like other brands. I bought a Kenmore coffee maker from Sears and this one blows it out of the water. Don't know why I ever left this brand. The color is awesome and reminds me of a Spectraflame Hot Wheels color , easy to use and great coffee. I would have given it 10 Stars if it had included the Stainless steel filter, but I was able to buy one at a very reasonable price afterward.
