Functions but paint issues

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nearly all of the names on the buttons have come off within 2 years. Now at 3 years they are all gone. I have 3 other remotes, some of which are same age but some even older. None of the other remotes are missing any paint on their buttons. The user would have no idea how to operate this remote if he/she wasn't familiar with it. LG disappointed me with this, and I've been a loyal LG owner for 15 years.

Scroll wheel broken

Poor engineering on how the scroll wheel is made. After so many times of pressing in the wheel its thin plastic componet will wear out over time causing it to snap making it non functional. This should have been designed with metal not a thin plastic cylinder that is the main use of the this remote. Its going to wear out and break!

This sucks

The 4 color buttons may access special features but the manual doesn't tell you what or how. One button let's you access saved channels but the manual doesn't tell you how to save a channel. The manual only tells you how to install batteries and how to buy a replacement. No magic with this remote!

Poor quality

Haven't seen such a poor quality stuff from a reputed brand. I considered LG to be a reputed brand but I guess the days of it be considered so are gone. The prints on the remote fade out relatively quickly. The battery cover lock easily snap. I believe LG is trying to be cheap by making money off of the remotes!
