Made it much easier for my elderly mom to use her new TV. Best features: the voice control and also "pointer" control if needed. Pointer works with some Internet options like Youtube TV, but not with Amazon--otherwise would have been 5 stars.

Generally, this TV remote does what it is supposed to do. However, using it can be confusing, particularly in the interaction between the TV remote and the remote for the cable tuner.

This is the excellent magic remote that came with my original TV. Unfortunately, my dog ate the first one, but the replacement came in as the reliever with no issues.

I replaced the previous one because the power button didn't sitting back and was stuck inside. After a few months, the new one has the exact same issue.

I have had this remote replaced three times due to very poor engineering and manufacturing quality. The remote has a lifetime of about a year and outside that you can expect the following: the scroll wheel breaks, buttons on the remote lose functionality, remote looses connection with TV, the pointer feature malfunctions, and unit fails altogether. I don't know why LG continues to sell this worthless product that barely lasts a year. I will never by LG again.
