I've been using this remote for a week now so I'm still getting used to it. I do like the remote but it could improve in small areas. It could use a backlight feature to see in dark rooms, buttons added for FFW/RW and 'return channel' , and the area that really bugs me is not being able to program the 'guide' button to accommodate the cable box (set top box). It only goes to LG's internet channels which already has another button (-list). I haven't tried the voice control though. But overall, its a good remote that is comfortable in the hand and isn't too big. The mouse-like pointing is convenient as well.

I bought 65" tv come with this remote. 1st the rubber key pad all faded just in 3 months. I online order another original with same model number.. the center wheel select roller broken in just 2 months. So i shift back to the fadded remote and now the right move key not functioning. What a shame from this LG remote control. TV no problem so far..

This remote is absolute trash. The “mouse” function is aggravating, buttons are in wrong places, and for God's sake if LGs goal was to make a desirable, it should illuminate! We have the technology. If I hadn't won this tv, I would return it because of the remote alone.

Just a very quick review. I brought my LG OLED C8 I think in Nov 2019. Until now I didn't think much about the magic remote. I mean it looks good and works well. Yes the print on the buttons have worn somewhat but still visible and off the keypad all details very visible. My father brought a LG OLED C3. TV is great however I noted the remote seems far less quality over my version. My remote is, in my view, superior in quality and now I appreciate it so much more than these new ones and 5 years on works absolutely fine as is the TV. Excellent Products.

Right cursor switch stopped clicking when pressed and the button was stuck on leaving the TV useless. Opened the unit expecting it to be jammed due to ingress of some kind only to find the fault was a manufacturing failure with the solder switch collapsed and stuck in the engaged position.

We purchased an LG "Smart TV" with a remote that when TV gave prompt msgs. like, << or >> to rewind or fast forward does NOT exist on this remote-I have spent hours, and hours reading, researching watching YouTubes.....not sure if this is due to the "Smart TV" or it's "Remote" eitheror - not purchasing this Brand again....

I git this remote with my tv and was kinda excited for a new universal remote since they stopped the harmony remotes. However after only using it for a hour, i found out that it is useless trash. It does not pair at all with cable boxes or with my soundbar. There is also huge step down from any single remote out there because what remote does not offer a rewind or fast forward button? This one is not worth it, save your money and get something else. I threw mine in the garbage.
