Zantac is recalled. Pepcid is one of the few substitutes you can choose. Since zantac is recalled, there's national shortage on pepcid. I get it as a prescription, famotidine. Randitidine which is the generic of zantac worked better, but famotidine still works on me. It may or may not work on you. Please get the smallest count bottle to try out first.

Although these pills are not what I normally reach for when looking for heartburn relief my husband buys this brand and I have used it for heartburn. It does work and it does work fast. It's not expensive either.

This is always a good thing to keep in the house to help relieve me issues with your guts. Sometimes food just does not sit well and you need some help relieving the issues. Pepcid really tends to help relieve those issues.
