If you are on the fence about getting a Vitamix, take the leap! I have used it almost daily since I purchased it a month ago. I have used it to make smoothies, hummus, soups, dips, and ice cream. It blends even big items with ease. I am so impressed! Also, this is the lowest price I found online after looking for several weeks.

Quite possibly thee best money anyone as ever spent anywhere!!! I've had my 5300 for a month now and have used it every single day. I still marvel at it's power, ease of use, end result and easy clean-up. This is an investment in a new lifestyle. Never, 'just' a blender.

I bought the 5300 about 2 months ago, I am very satisfied with it. Primary use is making smoothie with veggie for my wife and I. The broccoli stalks are 100% pulverized. About 5 months ago I bought a Berkey Water Filter, No more chlorine and other nasty things in my drinking water for me. Using the filter water in my Vita Mix, I feel like I am 20 years younger. I am 66 years old, my advice is buy both the Vita Mix and the Berkey. You will never regret it.

Bought this Vitamix mainly to make smoothies. So disappointed. I have to tamp the ingredients the entire time because the 5300 does not pull the ingredients down into its blade to swirl around. Therefore it not only doesn't do its job, but the smoothies are chunky, not smooth!! Also, no benefit getting the lower container as it still does not fit under my counter! I want my 6300 back!!!!

Ive owned a pretty decent blender from another company for years, but it never quite did the job right. Chunks were left in all smoothies, no soups could be processed efficiently and overall it was put away each time after use. After getting serious about my health and what I put into my body as well as all my family members bodies... I started to do research on blenders. After 6 months of review after review, and rating after rating... after testing ALL top blender brands in my home (some borrowed, some bought and returned)... I settled on Vitamix and never looked back! These blenders can do it all and more. I now make a heathy smoothie or drink every morning or whenever the mood strikes me. I make soups at least twice a week. All taste wonderful, are using clean fresh ingredients of my choosing, and all take little to no prep time or processing time. I NEVER put this blender away since I use it so much and display it on my counter top like a trophy Ive won after a hard fought competition. Vitamix truly is the king and has blown through every challenge I have put it to with ease and grace. My children, wife and I all are eating better foods, cleaner and leaner eating all while enjoying immense flavor and control over the food. It feels really good to have a wonderful tool that allows me to take some of the control back from the major processed foods that fill the vast percentage of foods in our grocery stores. Thank you Vitamix. I am truly a happy customer and now VItamix loyalist for life!

This is the first Vitamix blender that I have owned and I am completely satisfied. I have no complaints. I store the blender right on the counter top. It fits perfectly below my upper cabinets. It cleans up easily as long as you rinse it immediately after use and don't leave food in the pitcher to dry. The power that you get from the motor is outstanding. Nothing seems to be too much for it. We have used it for smoothies only so far but I am excited to try to make soups and nut milks as well. I have replaced my morning fast food stop with a green smoothie because of the 5300. I am a Vitamixer for life.

I bought the Vitamix 5300 as my home blender, I do have other equipment for my restaurants. After using it on daily basis to see if it will pass the daily strenuous restaurant load for 10 days in a row, now I regret spending all the money I spent on the other equipment I have. This model is not the biggest capacity nor power that Vitamix offers on the larger models,. Can you imagine how much more I would be pleased if I added the larger model to my list of equipment in my restaurant kitchens ? I am beyond impressed. It actually does what it says. All I can say is, BUY IT you will not regret it at all.
