We really enjoyed using the Vitamix before we packed and moved to another city. We probably used it for 2-3 times at the most and we were happy about its performance. A few months after we finally unboxed the rarely used kitchen appliances, my Vitamix middle rubber part on the base just disintegrated - like crumbled apart. I was so disappointed because it was cushioned and packed safely and why the black rubber part like a dome shape in the middle of the base just broke into pieces like that. And it's out of warranty so they cannot help me without paying a lot ti fix it. I don't think it's right since we only got very little use of my pretty red Vitamix. This is why I gave it a 2 star.

I recently bought my Vitamix after a friend recommended it. It has been great. It makes the creamiest smoothies! Its even easy to clean!

The blender stopped working after 7 days. The blades stop spinning after being turned on for a few seconds. I will be returning this later this week.

I bought this blender to replace a less expensive version and quickly found that this was far superior to anything I’ve ever used. Chopping blending and puréeing are all a breeze now. I’d buy it over and over again!

Game changer to say the least! Was juicing but finding this works so much better. Celery is emulsified totally! Impressive! I have only made shakes so far. Done in seconds flat. I LOVE my vitamix so much!

Solid build. Blends very well with no chunks of ingredients. Definitely quieter than the Oyster it replaced. The only thing issue is the blender's RPM's do not increase once the dial is turned to 7 or above.

This blender is very quiet compared to the ninja. It also mixes much better than the Ninja and is easier to store. I have enjoyed using it. It makes the best smoothies.

This Vitamix blender is a beast. It has a 7 year warranty on everything. Free shipping both ways if it needs repaired. Made in Ohio I believe. Phenomenal customer service! I called when I first got mine so they could register it and adjust the date for my warranty because it was manufactured a year and a half before i bought it. The lady was surprised because she said they usually don’t sit on the store shelf more than 6 months. I submitted my receipt to Vitamix and my warranty started from the date on the receipt. This blender does a heck of a job making smoothies and protein shakes. Very very powerful!!!! Can’t beat the warranty. Comes with a mixing stick if you need to mix anything up while it is running.

I called Vitamix directly since the box was sealed with a label saying quality control checked which I had never seen on a new Vitamix carton that you would see, for example, department store. I gave the representative the serial # and he said that it was a certified refurbished unit. I asked if it still had a 7 year warranty, since refurbished models only have a 5 year warranty. He said it was 7 year warranty. The price at Sam's is still below what a refurbished 5300 model is, but that fact should be noted in the description on the website. that it is a refurbished model.
