Great machine, pulverizes every seed, just like from a juice bar. But ad made me think it came with the smaller single use jar as well, does NOT come with that...

Pricey and Moderate Performance. Struggles to blend mixed vegetable or fruit smoothies. You have to use lots of liquid to blend without pushing to machine too its limit. Hope it lasts a year.

Terrible blender. Motor gets stuck, overheats, smells like it is burning. For the price of this blender, it should not do this. A $79 ninja blender is better. Don't waste your money on this.

Love this blender. So much better than my ninja blender and I loved than. This blender does a great job making smoothies and margaritas. I really don’t write reviews, but want to review this one. The price at Sams was a good deal. I was looking at the other models of Vitamix blenders and they were a lot higher in price. This one does the same thing as the higher ones. I do recommend this blender.

The vitamix is the BEST ever blender! We are very happy with this product and even happier with the price! The Vitamix makes all the seeds, ice, and lumps into a yummy smoothy with zero lumps. If you hate the seeds and bits of green that are usually left in your smoothy, then this is the blender for you. You literally get smoother drinks in lest than a minute! Bam!

qqI finally pulled the trigger and bought myself this Vitamix blender after wanting one for several years! I was so excited when it arrived yesterday. Indeed it does fit under my cabinets but only for storage and without the plunger thing in the blender. I have most of my appliances put up on shelving in my garage but this baby is going to be proudly displayed on my countertop! Afterall, it IS the mack daddy of all blenders! I made a smoothie this morning and it was awesome!!!

We got ours for $289 brand new. At that price there’s no other vitamix that comes close. The container is the same one you’d find on the 750 pro. The motor is the 2.2 HP motor and the case resembles the 5200 but is a bit taller as far as I can tell. The downside to this combo is that it is loud, but if that doesn’t matter I don’t think you can get a better blender for this money.

I waited many years to buy this product, thinking it was too expensive. When I saw a good deal I took a chance and I just wish I'd bought it sooner! It makes wonderful smoothies, sauces, salsa, oat flour. I bought the dry container to make oat flour out of oats and it makes wonderful, fine flour in seconds. Also highly recommend the self-cleaning method, works great!

This mixer does wonders. My wife and I use it to make veggie and fruit smoothies. We cut up the veggies and fruits and place them in the mixer after adding ice and there you go. Everything comes out smooth and creamy with no pulp. We can't believe we waited for so long before buying it. No issues what so ever with the mixer. Worth the price. Just be careful when cleaning because the blades are very sharp. After we are done we rinse it then put few drops of dish washing liquid in it with water and let it run then rinse in the sink. Don't wait buy it you won't regret it.

I've wanted a Vitamix for years! I finally decided to get one when I saw this one at Sam's Club! I'm so glad that I did. It does a much better job on smoothies than my Ninja, and it's quieter, too. It's very easy to use and to clean. I love the 7 year warranty, and I've already gone online and registered my blender!
