Had the 5200 for 15 years. Like the wider, shorter container. Fits under the cabinet and seems to mix better. Controls are different, still getting used to them.

Worth every $ that we spent on this. Got lucky and bought during the one day sale. THe sound was a bit loud initially but we got used to it once seeing the outcome.

Great all round blender/mixer! I have another one of these, it's been refurbished since I first bought it many years ago & it's still in service functioning properly!

This is our third Vitamix blender. Over the last 33 years, these products' dependability, durability, and convenience are unparalleled. The company's customer service is second to none.

Works good, but not perfect. it sometimes requires a lot of liquid to keep it blending. I have to stop and shake it constantly to keep the frozen fruit blending. It can be kind of frustrating sometimes.

The best blender I've ever used! I wish I would have purchased it several years ago, I could have saved a bundle not having to replace several blenders over the years!

have looked at Vitamix for years and refused to spend that much money on a blender. I finally gave in and decided to give it a try. Purchased July 2019, today I can not even get it to turn on. PURCHASE THE WARRANTY

I have been wanting a Vitamix for a long time and am so happy I finally got one. I love the size of the pitcher and the dial to change the speed gradually. The blades mix very well and my smoothies coke out perfectly every time.

Coming from turbo 3 speed it is quite different. So far no difficulties making smaller portion shakes. Motor is powerful and the speed dial makes control easier.

Love this one as much as my previous one. Sadly the cannister locked up and it made more sense to buy a whole new one than purchase a replacement. It did last 5 years with considerable use though.
