we used to get this at Sam's, but I don't go to Sam's anymore. I know the product is good, as long as that's actually what's inside this bag. The confusing seems to indicate you get three bags of one and a half pounds each and that is not the case. You get one bag. but, at one bag it is comparable to what we were paying at Sam's per bag.

This makes the best non homemade white gravy. I make biscuits and gravy white gravy. I doctor up the gravy a little. That said, it is the best white gravy mix I have ever used. I use this mix when I am serving large groups. It is hard for me to make homemade gravy for large groups. I use milk in place of water most of the tme. Once in a while I use half water and half milk. You will be pleased with this product.

Country gravy is a must for my house. Dont worry this is not one of those over salted mixes. I have a huge jar I keep this in with a scoop and I tapped a snippet of the stovetop prep label to the jar in case a quick reference is needed. There is also microwave and even hot water instructions on the package so this mix is really versatile!

If you look at the image and item name, it states 3 Bags 1.5 lbs each. what you'll receive is only 1 bag. For that, shame on you Walmart. The product IS what I wanted. It makes GREAT Gravy (to go with my Biscuits). Next time, I'll see about ordering through a different vendor. Amazon delivers to me 😀

Pretty good - nice flavor. Definitely one of the better mixes we’ve tried. Not overly salty and best with sausage for my family, but decent without, too. Would like to see a bulk portioned option for the pantry for times when such a large amount isn’t needed. Outside that, it’s a frustration saver if you don’t have the time or will to mix up your own roux and such.

Bought this on a whim because my family loves my homemade sausage gravy, but it takes a bit to make so I thought I would try this based on the reviews. I am so glad I did! My own husband said, 'sorry hon, I think this is even better than yours'... Well, it's as good as! And much easier to make! Don't hesitate on this one ~ it's a winner!

All you need to know is how to make smaller portions: 1cup boiling water, 1/4 cup of mix in 3/4 cup of lukewarm water, which you will add into the pot of boiling water. This makes enough for 2-4 people. We’ve used it for many years and it is wonderful.

We love gravy and this peppered gravy is the perfect and easiest way to make just add water. It’s not greasy at all. Breakfast o yes with biscuits and gravy even with sausage. Lunch creamy potatoes and gravy or rice and gravy. I always make homemade gravy sometimes it was good and sometimes it’s not. You want have a problem with Sam’s peppered gravy you get three packs in the box.

After seeing all the reviews, I didn't think I could go wrong. But this was actually THE WORST gravy I've ever had, other than the canned ones. I have NO idea where all these 5 star reviews came from. People who never had a decent homemade gravy, apparently. This wasn't even edible. I tasted it after I made it and then put it straight down the drain and ate my potatoes plain.
