I thought I would try the light weight litter. I liked the ease of lifting the littler box filled and it did not stick to the sides of the litter box. It was much easier to scoop too. But it is so light weight that my male cat would step on the side of the little box and tipped it over. It does not control odor or it just has a smell as soon as they wet in it. It’s a weird odor. I could smell it as soon as I walked through the door. If you have somewhere to put the box away from your living areas it would be better, I have a small home therefore no where to move the box.

I was using the regular one,but being disabled it was just too heavy for me. The light weight works just as good. Looks different, but it really does work the same as the regular. Highly recommend it, especially if you have a hard time lifting anything heavy.

I personally don't love the fragrance and the way it sticks to my cat's feet. But, it is a real blessing when it comes to doing the job. Lightweight is a real plus for an old lady like me. It's a quick, easy cleanup when you're scooping up after 4 big kitty cats, too. I definitely recommend it. And, BTW, the buckets always get second lives around here. I even used one to make a pass-through between the cat door in my window into a cat tunnel outside that is connected to their outdoor pen. Keeps the rain and wind out.

Light weight is perfect for people like me that can not lift heavy things. This last about 2 weeks before having to change the litter out because it gets that litter smell nobody wants. This does track up the floor a little so I bought one of those mats on amazon that collect all the litter and you can easily dump it back into the litter box so I am not wasting money. Tidy cat holds up well with urine making it a solid clump and not bits and pieces falling off in the box. Great litter and have been using for over a year!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very lightweight litter which is nice! Except the litter still seems to stick to my cats paws and trails outside of the box some. But that probably doesn’t have to do with the product. It clumps well.

pretty good. less weight, clumps well, doesn't stay stuck to bottom of litter pan like other clay clumping litters where I have had to scrap a mud like substance from the urine. Only downside is that it is very dusty. Not just dusty at time of pouring into litter box, but also every time I sift out clumps. I have 4 cats so this lightweight litter helps tremendously. I only worry about the excess dust the cats and I are breathing in. I have tried all sorts of litter for multiple cats. I really didn't want to ever try clay litter let alone like one, but overall, this one has been pretty good and doesn't make my home smell like I have 4 cats and 5 litterboxes.

When you see the box you immediately think "ugh this is going to be heavy." Before you know it you're flinging the box across your cart because you were prepared to hoist a million pound box; it's so lightweight!! It's easy to scoop and never smells bad; no clumping! I will NEVER use another litter. Thank you Tidy Cat for saving my back and keeping my house smelling great!

The lighter weight cat litter is much more practical so paying more than regular kitty litter is worth it to me. My only concern is that it claims 99.9% dust free but I don't find that to be accurate. I find fine dust all around the litter box area & It makes me sneeze when I clean the litter box out. Still going to purchase it as it's easier for me to handle & use at home.

A bit pricier, but much lighter which is helpful for old folks like me. I also believe that this cat litter gets caught in my cats paws more than the other heavier clumping stuff, which causes a bit more of a cleanup around the box. Still a worthwhile buy for me (I drag my large litter box into RV once a month).

i really like that the product is not heavy to carry but it sticks to the cats feet because it is light its everywhere. I think it would be better for people who don't have several cats. Im switching back to the cheaper but heavier formula. I really wanted this to work. It would have been worth the extra money if it wasn't so messy
