i started buying these because they were a lightweight alternative to the extremely heavy other ones and im 4'9" butt cant carry anything heavier than a gallon of milk, and for awhile these saved my arms and back a load of pain when doing the litterboxes, but then they randomly increased the price so much that i cant justify buying it over the others.. really upsetting..

It has been my go to litter since trying it out compared to my usual cat litter brand about 3 years ago. I originally tried it because I could not carry my usual one all the way home on the bus and walk. Since using it my litter has been less smelly and it clumps better and I don't use as much.

There are many options available for cat litter but Tidy Cats is the best option to suit the needs of our multi-cat family. Tidy Cats is the best product I have used for multiple cats because it absorbs the moisture better than most other brands, making it easy to scoop the clumped portions. This light weight litter also reduces the weight of garbage bags which results in saving money on bag-tags. Not to overstate how amazing this product is but this product changed my life. I was living a meaningless life before I tried Tidy Cats but now I am able to see colours that I never knew existed and experience emotions one thousand times more intense than joy. No. Of course not. But what else do I write in a review of cat litter? Tidy Cats is the best option for multiple cats. Try it. You’re welcome.

Light weight = Yes - Because of this feature I will continue to buy (I'm 77 and small) Odor Control = better than most, but not as good as Arm & Hammer (I tend to sprinkle A&H baking soda on litter each day to control the slight odor) My Maine Coon collects the litter in her paws and tracks it everywhere. (She does so with other litter too, but this more than the others.)

A fraction of the weight of traditional litters. This is perfect if you have issues with lifting. Because it is so light I have to weight down the litter box or the box tips over when my cat uses the litter box. Great product and eliminates any odor.

Very Light weight to carry. Scooping out letterbox much easier, it takes about half the time of regular clumping litters. I have seven cats, they ALL love it as much as we do!! Keeps urine and feces smell down. Great Product! Will definitely keep buying it!!

For how expensive this stuff is it really failed. It did not cover the smell of urine at all even with an arm %26 hammer additive. I feel like it even failed at its clumping ability. I thought tidy cat was pretty much top of the line when it comes to litter. So now I have switched to Pretty Litter to give it a shot. Im a little nervous that they tell you to only remove the droppings %26 change the rest kontbly leave the urine. My cat urinates a lot but even at 26.00 a bag, 2 bags of it would be cheaper than going thru a bucket a week of Tidy at close to 20.00 each. 1 major plus with the Pretty Litter I have already noticed is that she doesnt track hardly any out as opposed to the Tidy which was all over the place constantly. So at the risk of prematurily judging.....Im already leaning toward the Pretty as the clear %26 cleaner winner, Lol!

This is hands-down the best litter I have ever purchased. It is the absolute best in terms of odor control. The clumping is actually effective as well, so you don't end up with urine in the bottom of the litter pan that is difficult to scoop out without tossing all of the litter. Remember that it weights less because it's lightweight, not because you're actually getting any less litter.

I had a bad experience with this litter. My large male cat was recently diagnosed with diabetes and as anyone knows that's had a diabetic kitty, they urinate a LOT! I decided to go with a lightweight litter since it seemed I was constantly lugging litter around, either in or out. one night my guy came in and his feet were coated with litter, it was jammed in between his toes and he had litter and clear gel dripping from his mouth from trying to clean his feet. Apparently, he was peeing faster than this litter could absorb. The next day, I bought Tidy Cat's Breeze system, and so far that's been working out great for us.

The light weight is much easier for someone like me with arthritis and an auto immune disease. The dust is low and the smell is, well, good as far as we’re talking cat litter. My only issue is that I require help to remove the band to open it. Or a screwdriver to pry it.
