I cannot believe after using this while taking care of a friend's cat. I ran home and ordered a container this stuff is the best litter. I have two cats so I'm always Has a fragrance so that I don't smell cat odor. It is a little more expensive but it's worth every penny

The light weight is much easier for someone like me with arthritis and an auto immune disease. The dust is low and the smell is, well, good as far as we’re talking cat litter. My only issue is that I require help to remove the band to open it. Or a screwdriver to pry it.

Other than I LOVE it! This lightweight version of the litter has been a dream!It clumps just as well as the heavier version, without all the dust blowing up around you. The lack of weight...let's just say my wrist thanks you. I've tried others, and there's no comparison! Tidy Cats IS the BEST!

honestly I love the fact that it's so lightweight because I have back issues and I'm not supposed to be looking happy things, I love how it's still clumps up like the other normal cat litter but the one thing I do not like it leaves some type of clay residue on my cats nutsack (tmi but true) and if by any chance he happens to step in his pee he'll leave paw like footprints on my floor out of that clay type paw paint I would call it lol honestly if it didn't leave that type of residue around I would have given it five stars but honestly because of that clay residue I feel like I have to clean a bit more than normal

I liked the light "weight"! It claims to be a Low-Dust formula %26 I find it very dusty! The litter sticks slightly to my cat's oe paws %26 tracks it all over. I wish they made a NO-DUST/NO TRACKING LITTER! I've tried "SLIDE" %26 it's OK, but way too expen$ive!

The outside of the container makes no mention of the product having added fragrance. I really didn't pour enough out to get an idea of how well it clumped but it stinks. I don't want my cats inhaling anything this highly scented. One of them started coughing and wheezing less than 30 minutes after using the litter box and I also had issues breathing due to the strong smell.

I have RA, and lifting and carrying items that are heavy is painful. Also, scooping is difficult at times. This litter works great at clumping (doesn't fall apart). If you put the recommended amount in the litter box, no scraping needed. It last as long as regular litter. It is a little pricey. but it works and I don't need help in carrying it or scooping.

I tried this litter because it's affordable for being lightweight, but it's just way too dusty. My cats now smell like litter and everything in the cat room has a lovely layer of litter all dust on it. It tracks everywhere and sticks to their paws and behinds. It does scoop easily though, and being lightweight is nice, but it's not worth all of the dust. I'm switching back to Arm %26 Hammer. I've found that the clump %26 seal slide is the best from that brand, it's definitely worth the extra money.

This litter is definitely lightweight. It does clump and control odor. That's why I gave it 2 stars. However, it doesn't get 5 like other Purina Tidy Cat litter. When we tried this lightweight litter, we had problems with the litter sticking to our cat's paws. It stuck so much that large clumps were stuck in between our cat's toes. Since going back to the regular Tidy Cat we get, we no longer have this problem. We use the blue lid or the black lid which are also low dust. It must be something about the red lid lightweight version that caused the problem. I do not recommend this.

I personally don't love the fragrance and the way it sticks to my cat's feet. But, it is a real blessing when it comes to doing the job. Lightweight is a real plus for an old lady like me. It's a quick, easy cleanup when you're scooping up after 4 big kitty cats, too. I definitely recommend it. And, BTW, the buckets always get second lives around here. I even used one to make a pass-through between the cat door in my window into a cat tunnel outside that is connected to their outdoor pen. Keeps the rain and wind out.
