Light weight = Yes - Because of this feature I will continue to buy (I'm 77 and small) Odor Control = better than most, but not as good as Arm & Hammer (I tend to sprinkle A&H baking soda on litter each day to control the slight odor) My Maine Coon collects the litter in her paws and tracks it everywhere. (She does so with other litter too, but this more than the others.)

This is different every time I order it. First couple of times it was white in color and did well keeping odor down. Since then when ordering supposedly the same exact thing it’s dark in color with I’m guessing charcoal and it doesn’t keep the odor down. I clean my litter boxes daily. It’s probably not Walmarts fault but Tidy Cat needs to get their act together and quit ruining the original product. They cheapen the quality and raise the price..

Tidy Cats lightweight cat litter is an excellent product for a person who has several cats. It produces minimal dust particles, which is a big plus, but what I appreciate the most is its clumping ability, especially useful for cats with diarrhea or frequent urination. It efficiently forms clumps around the cat's waste, helping to control odors. Additionally, I enjoy the plastic tubs as they can be reused for storing dry cat food or even as containers for potted plants.

The best litter on the market! I am spoiled by the lightweight and my cats love this one the best, too. I love the large pails - they are great for carrying and easier on the back than boxes. The empty pails will eventually go to recycling but I will get years of other use such as planters (grapes / tomatoes etc.) / storage, etc..

I have tried many types of cat litter and always have an issue with the dust from the cat box. But with this low dust litter, that has not been an issue. This Purina Tidy Cat is also lightweight. With this lightweight litter it is so much easier to carry this bucket from the store to my car and to my storage room! This Tidy Cat is great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this litter. It's easy to carry from room to room to fill up multiple litter boxes and you get just as much as the 20lbs without the weight. It's not nearly as dusty as other litters and helps keep my house smelling good

At first, I didn't think paying extra for litter would be worth it. I was so wrong. While this litter is about $5 more than its non-lightweight counterpart, the easy of loading it in the car, into the house, and into the litter box makes it 100% worth the price.

It's wonderful to have a tidy cat litter that actually clumps so I can remove the pee pods from the litter boxes. The original heavy version had stopped doing that months ago. I'm totally satisfied with this lightweight version. It does track on the cats' feet but I'd prefer to sweep the floor more often than not be able to keep the litter boxes clean. It's nice that it's not as heavy and is low dust which is great for the cats and me.

I hate heavy cat litter. I don't understand why cat litter has to weigh a ton for your cat to want to use it. This cat litter is really nice and light. Problem is not all cats want to use it. Two of my four cats are very picky to the point that they will not use a litter box if it's not the right litter. Those cats won't use this litter. My other two cats are fine with it.

We have 4 cats, 4 litter boxes and this is our go-to cat litter. It clumps well and controls the strongest odors without the strong perfume smell that can turn off some cats. I pay a little for "lightweight" because the jug is super easy to grab and go when I need to do a quick clean up. I highly recommend this cat litter to anyone with one or multiple cats. I also highly recommend the lightweight jugs for anyone who has trouble lifting heavy things.
