I will not be buying this product again. It tracks all over thr house and smells within a day or two of changing it for "fresh" litter. Being light weight is a huge plus, but the disadvantages outweigh it, literally. We will be switching back to regular Tidy Cats.

I love that the LightWeight litter is so light, BUT the litter is now tracked through out every inch of my home, quite the disaster. I bought the heavier Tidy Cats litter after testing all of the other brands for track ability. Tidy won hands down because the litter stayed in the box and I've enjoyed it for the past 4 years. I will go back to the heavy formula happily still satisfied but no way with the LightWeight.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tidy cats lightweight 24/7 is the best cat litter i tried. Others do not work as good and the cost is better than most other brands. Plus, the lightweight of the container is definitely a big plus!!! In comparison, you cant beat it. Plus it controls the overall order of the litter box too.

I was hesitant to pay the price for this litter but finally broke down and tried it. I'm so glad I did. Having a bad back to deal with everyday, hauling this litter has made life so much easier. I have six cats so I use a good bit of litter. I only hope I can continue to afford it. The only complaint I have, and it's a small one, is the smell. The litter has an odd order. Not real bad but a scent added to this litter would be an improvement. Great product!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For reference, I’m using the Tidy Cat 24/7 Performance Cat Litter in a litter box in a medium size bathroom. It’s great for 1-2 cats, provides effective odor control for a couple of days, it’s highly perfumed, but be aware because it’s lightweight, it doesn’t clump as well as other clumping litters, so scooping 1-2x a day is needed.

This product works fairly well at controlling odor (not as well as Maxx Scoop). It is easy to carry. However, because of its lightweight formula, my cats track it all over the house. Even the cat mats outside their litter boxes don't catch it. I'm constantly finding it on furniture, and I am having to sweep multiple times a day.

Thanks, Tidy Cat for the sample. Our four cats and I like this litter. It sifts better and cleaner. It still has amazing clumping power. Didn't even notice the new side handle until I was adding more litter to the boxes--great idea. I can't wait until this is in the stores. 

Top reason is my ability to carry it upstairs with ease. It's also easy to clean with a litter rake. I'll never go back to the heavier litters. It is a dust creator, though and our cats track it through the house....these may be refinements to work toward. As of now, we are all very satisfied.

I purchased this a while ago to test it out. I was skeptical of the "lightness" of it until I picked the giant bottle up and I almost threw it. It is supremely light, though not as light as the commercial makes it seem (of course). The only downside for me is that I have a long haired cat (Himalayan) and the smell of the litter always seems to stick with her.
