I bought the light weight blue and didn't like it, so I bought this one to try. I have a bad back and wanted the light weight litter to work so bad. This one covers urine and feces odors better than the light weight blue, but it had too much perfume smell for me. This one is better than the light weight blue, but I will go back to the regular blue.

It comes in a easy to pour jug, and is extremely lightweight. The order control is by far the best I have ever used. It's definitely a winner!

I was able to buy this with a coupon I had & I really like this stuff. It is so light when scooping out, it's amazing the difference between LightWeight & the regular Tidy Cat I had been getting. However the price for Light Weight is more but if I had more coupons I'd definitely be buying this stuff for sure!!!

I run 7 boxes and 200+ pounds of litter and am willing to pay for something that is dust free, does not track and would be lighter.  This is by far the dustiest litter I've ever used and I've used many brands.  Not only did my cast sneeze I did when I scooped.  Very disappointing.  

I was excited to try this product because of the lighter weight. Unfortunately, that is the only redeemable quality of this litter from my experience. Although it does provide good odor control, the mess associated with it is not worth it. Not only was my entire basement coated in a layer of white dust, every time the cats exited the litter box it clung to their feet and was tracked for quite a distance from the litter boxes. I can only imagine what the inside of my furnace looks like from using this product for over a month. I really wanted this to work for me, but there is enough work involved in keeping the cats environment clean and odor free, but this just added tremendously to time and effort required to do so. Sorry Purina-I cannot recommend this product. If you can figure out a way to control the dust then perhaps I'll give it another try. For now I'll stick with what I know works.

This litter claims to be 99.9% dust free, which is absolutely not a true statement.  This is the dustiest cat litter I have ever tried (and I've tried a lot of different brands).   Pros: light weight, clumping, odor control, absorbent Cons:  TOO DUSTY, overpriced

I thought this product would be a great idea. I have always used Tidy Cats litter, but I just bought the new light-weight product. I now find wet/dry paw prints with cat litter on my vinyl and hardwood floors that I have to use a wet rag to clean up. I never had this issue with the harder cat litter. Sure, I would find some pieces of cat litter on my floors with the regular Tidy Cats, right around the litter box, but easy enough to sweep up. The cost of this new litter is not worth the extra work to wipe up the paw prints in my house!

I bought this over a month ago and myself and my cat has had severe asthma attacks from the dust. My entire dresser which was once black is now gray on one side from dust. I have to wipe it off every week. I'm not sure how they can say this product is 99.9% dust free unless they changed the formula after I bought mine because this is the worst dust I have ever experienced.

We use Tidy Cats regular formula and wasn't sure how the lightweight would compare and we really like it. It's easier to carry up the stairs and controls the urine smells just as well if not better than the regular formula. I received this product free from PinchMe.

LOVE the lightweight litter. With 4 indoor cats it's a drag moving heavy boxes around (I scoop outside to avoid dust inside). My only complaint-- and it's a pretty significant one-- is the strong perfume odor (and I don't even consider myself to be hyper fragrance-sensitive). I currently mix it with a fragrance-free Petco brand (that is admittedly very heavy.) Would be so happy for a fragrance-free option or, at the very least, something *very* lightly scented. Extra points for a lightweight naturally scented product, e.g., lavender or other herbs. Do this, Tidy Cat, and you're sure to sell more litter!!
