After losing my cat of 17 yrs I finally welcomed a new baby into our home. I was very excited to try the lightweight litter. It is fantastic for my back and Pugsley doesn't notice a difference from the shelter. I have noticed an increased grittiness and I don't miss a day cleaning out the box to control odor.But it's more than worth it.

Surprised at the negative reviews on this product...I love it! Bad joints and being 63 the tub had gotten impossible to lift into cart or out of the car, so the weight of this litter is wonderful. PLUS, the performance is superior in my opinion to the heavy litter...we have four grown cats so it got a good test. I found it better at odor control, easier to scoop, and less litter outside the box from kitties feet. My only complaint is: please sell it in the larger tub size and make the price the same as the heavy litter.

I have 5 cats and go through a big jug a week or more. The product is wonderful and now that I'm older, the lightweight helps for my shopping needs. I bought the 18 lb box and have had a terrible time with the light particles sticking to my 5 cat's feet. I keep a rug right outside their litter box, but they still get spread around a large area of my home and I am constantly having to run the vacuum cleaner. I love the smell and lightness and how it scoops, but it continues to cling to their feet.

I have owned several cats over the last 20yrs and have always used tidy cat litter and liked it. I tried the new lite weight litter the quality is not the same as the original. I current have 2cats and the litter on the lite gets very wet and doesn't clump as well as the original plus it is twice as much and you use more litter.

As stated in other reviews, I love the idea of a "lightweight" litter since its hard for me to carry the regular product. However, I didn't like the scent, it is too powdery And most important, my beautiful cat didn't like it. She immediately knew something was different.

I have 3 cats, clean 2 cat pans daily, always have. I am very happy with Order control and tracking with lightweight litter. My only negative comment is the purchase price is much higher. I have not used long enough to comment on how long a 8 lb. jug lasts vs 20 lb clay litter.

I bought this last week because i had a coupon. I will not be buying this again. The litter clumped and stuck to my cats paws. She not only tracked it everywhere but it hardened to her paws while I was at work and it hurt her when I tried to get it off. When I scoop the litter box there is like a playdoh textured layer under the dry litter. The dust was horrible. I live in a small bedroom that I rent and I couldn't breathe when I went to bed hours after pouring the litter. I would give it zero stars if I could.

this is that way litter is suppose to be....light easy effective i have had cats for over 10years and i wish they had this product all along I can not say enough about how good it is and easy to use Just 1 change make it in a box and more ounces thanks to who ever FINALLY FIGURED OUT "LIGHTER LITTER"
