The scent is too strong! My kitties have sensitive noses and the scent is way too strong for litter! Unscented or something with half the scent would be much better. I love the lightweight jug, though. I can't use this until this product cuts way down on the scent.

Ok. First of all I love my cats. Second I only buy Tidy cat litter. It is the best in my opinion. I don't mind spending a little over $7.00 for a 20 lb. container. It is worth it. What I won't do again is buy the Lightweight Tidy Cat litter. It cost over $10.00 for 8 1/2 lbs of light weight litter. The Pro's. It is lightweight and for a person of advancing years it looked like a perfect solution. I can carry two containers of this light weight cat litter up three flights of stairs no problem. That is where the positives end. This "New" light weight litter has a ton of dust in it. I have allergies so that is why I don't like dust clouds in my apartment. The regular 20lb Tidy cat litter has very little dust. I think if you can get by the dust issue you have a chance but here goes round two.The NEW lightweight litter....... It does NOT absorb smell. OMG!!!! That was for all the younger people out there. I will continue to purchase the 20lb containers and continue to lug them up three flights of stair all in the name of my NOSE. Maybe I will get lucky in twenty years and lose my sense of smell but until that day just stay away. No lightweight for me. I wish I could sent you all a smell video.

I love tidy cat glade,  but that big bucket which I also love is so heavy.  This jug is light.  I wondered how well it would work,  but it definitely holds up to the tidy cat name.  I use it in my littermaid and I honestly think it makes the machine works less because the litter doesn't weigh as much making it easier for the  rake to glide through  the litter.  I happen to like the smell, and I typically look for the scented ones. Now they just need to make it available in the nice big bucket.

I bought this at Meijers and was excited to try a lightweight product because I live in a 3rd floor walk-up. OMG, there was white dust everywhere when I poured it and, Sam, my cat, tracked the granules everywhere. There were white footprints all over my house. The odor control was just ok and there was too much fragrance for my taste. I gave it 2 stars because it was lightweight 

Excellent clumping, liquid or solid, better than any other Tidy Cat litter. Keeps odors down. Being light weight is a double edge sward...easy to carry and use. But its' lightness makes it easy for the cat to kick it out of the box and track around house

I bought this item about a month and a half ago, the litter lasts it stays fresh and light, it does not get clumpy in the bottom like other clumping brands the litter makes cleaning nice and fast. I am pretty sure my cats love it too I found 2 of my 3 cats playing in it after its cleaned. I love clean litter, but the only thing I don't like about this item is it's price . Lol;)

The regular Tidy Cats clumping litter clumps so hard, it ruins the take motor of an automatic litter box, but the lightweight type proved to be good for such. It's too bad it's so much more expensive. Claims it's the equivalent of 42 lbs of regular cat litter---NOT! Doesn't last as long as the regular Tidy Cat.

I like the fact that It is light weight but the dust is getting to be too much. The dust is all over everything and I have a covered litter box. It is a great concept, but the dust is a fatal issue for me. The room where I have the litter box is small but the dust is all over the room. As for now, I am going back to the original Tidy Cats. Hopefully, you can find a way to deal with the dust issue and still keep the weight down.

I was tired of carrying the heavier buckets of litter up and down my stairs so I tried the light weight .... BIG MISTAKE! I have a Litter Robot that waits for 7 minutes for the litter to clump then rotates and sifts the clumps from the rest and dumps it in a drawer down below. This light weight litter was like sawdust and the smell was horrible ... so bad that my cat pooped outside the robot! I had to empty the entire robot and refill it. I will have to go out and buy my old litter and bleach that whole corner of my basement to make sure it's clean. I'm so very disappointed because the packaging states it acts like regular litter and does NOT specify that it's not good for litter machines. Back to the drawing board Tidy Cat .... you've lost my business!!

I have used Purina products for over 20 years, and the light weight cat litter is not only the worst I have ever used , but it is a health hazard, and should be withdrawn from the market. Large dust clouds billow up when I clean the cat box out, I got sick from using this product. I will never purchase this product again. Regular Tidy Cats (tight clumping litter) is an ok product, the cat food my cats usually like, and enjoy the variety, it's sad to see such an error with this hazardous litter product.
