I love the idea of a light weight litter, and this is great to carry. But the urine odor from the litterbox is MUCH stronger than with regular litter. I'm going back to the heavy litter.

Does not work as well as standard weight clumps are pasty and stick to the sides of the litter box so bad that it can't be completly scraped off and keep building up to thepoint that the boxes need to be power washed every 2 or 3 days.

Hides smells, and clumps as good as any other litter I've used. I have 4 cats and change and clean the box often and the light weight factor saves my back. Great product!

The only good thing about this is that it is easy to get to the car and in the house. Makes kitty smells smell even worse. I wouldn’t use this stuff if it was given to me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried Tidy Cats Lightweight litter and it did a great job controlling odor and clumped extremely well, my cats tracked it everywhere. I usually use regular Tidy Cat litter and the lightweight had at least double the amount of tracking.

Like most, I purchased this product in hopes of saving my back from hauling the usual containers.  While it scooped well, I find that the 99.9 % dust free claim is extremely misrepresentative.  I would actually cut that number in half.  Twice my cat was choking from the dust particles.  Not to mention the extra cleaning I had to do in my bathroom b/c of the dust in the air.  

While it’s nice that it’s light and not so dusty, yet when Kitty comes out of boxes lots of that “sand” comes out with her when compared to the one I previously bought at Sam’s Club I think it is $17.78 today, but this one was on sale when I bought it which Is why I decided to try. While it’s much better than the one with glade for breathing, it’s actually worse when it comes to mess and how much is around the litter box when Kitty come out and she is not even playing simply doing her business :( won’t but again that for sure now waiting for it to be used. It’s light but that means a lot will come out as well

The Lightweight formula works great for my cats. I can go twice as long w/ doing a full litter change out now. So the "extra" expense makes up for itself. Plus, now it's convenient in that I don't have to kill my back. Works good for odor too. A+

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this Tidycats Lightweight litter is fine if you want the ease of lifting light litter. But it also is horrible at tracking! Because it is light the dusty stuff is everywhere and my 2 cats tracked it everywhere too! I don't like it!

The new packaging is terrible! I’m going to have to buy a smaller container that I can pour this into. What a disaster and disappointment. There is just a giant plastic bag inside the box you have to attempt to pour from. They need to go back to the original design with a handle on top and a pouring slot. Epic FAIL! The texture and color of the litter has also changed. It’s denser and a darker color
