[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Except for the regular formula of Ensure, the lids are too tight. I can easily take the lid off of the one with 9 gm of protein, but I think all others are so tight that I had to buy an electric bottle cap opener and that is slow.

Drinking one in the morning keeps me going through lunch break, or pulling one from my cooler when I can't get away helps energize and vitalize, all while providing Vitamins and Minerals needed in my diet I may not be getting otherwise. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was prescribed Ensure around 1980 or so when my mouth was wired shut after an operation on a broken jaw, and I remembered liking it back then. Last December, my doctor wanted to put me on statins to lower my annually increasing, now too-high cholesterol, but I didn't want to be on drugs for the rest of my life, so I started keeping track of saturated fats, cholesterol, etc., in my diet and added daily a cup of oats, an apple, and 8 ounces of grape juice. After five months, all but one of my levels were lowered to within range, with the one already down 40 points, just 14 above acceptable. And keeping the various daily nutritional levels under maximum also reduced my weight by about 12 pounds to a healthy 160. However, when the weight kept going down, I decided I needed to add calories, and Ensure Plus Vanilla is a great way to add the calories without going over on saturated fat, etc. I find it delicious and wish I could afford more than just one bottle a day!

My 96 year old dad has suffered from COVID and has rebounded with 2 negative screenings after 2 weeks of suffering from the virus. Thanks to Ensure, he has survived without ingesting solids and has kept his weight at an optimal level considering his age. He has also gotten all the vitamins and minerals to keep him relatively healthy.

We initially got this because of the protein. We've been using it for about 5 years so far, and get it because it tastes so good. I am 80 years old, and my Geriatric doctor insists I keep drinking it to help keep my calcium level at an acceptable level. I also drink it in lieu of dessert!
