[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In the Fall of 2010 I was diagnosed with Stage 4 throat cancer and had to undergo radiation treatment and chemotherapy. I also had to eat through a feeding tube for months until my throat healed enough to eat with my mouth. I was thin to begin with, but as the treatment wore on I lost more and more weight. One day during treatment the radiologist told me I needed to gain weight, otherwise I might not have enough strength to make it through the treatment. My ENT prescribed Ensure and I started receiving it by the case. He recommended that I "drink" at least 3 bottles a day via my feeding tube - and more if I could manage it. I slowly got healthier and gained weight, and eventually made it though my treatment. So, this is why I say that "Ensure could save your life". I truly feel it did. Well, to cut a long story short, after the feeding tube was removed, I continued drinking it - warm from a can at first! - and then refrigerated. The taste took a little getting used to but eventually I came to love the taste. The vanilla is my favorite! In fact, I'm addicted to it. :-) I still drink 2 or 3 bottles per day to remain healthy, getting the nutrition and calories I need.

I'm drinking the Plus, and love the taste: (it's a good thing too, 'cause it's a script. to help me gain some weight.) Some reviewers dislike the thickness of it, and I am fortunate not to experience that as a problem. However, the regular style is not so thick, and maybe they could try that. I feel totally full after one of these. Good Stuff!

We all know that cancer patients lose their appetites, they stop eating and start to lose weight because they are not getting the protein and calories that they should be getting. Ensure has been made to "ENSURE" that the patients are getting the nutrients that the require and need. The flavors are great especially Strawberry and as I stated it helps the patient maintain their weight and provide them with the proper nutrients that they require. I personally know someone that has cancer and isn't eating very well and they are on the Ensure and has been maintaining his weight.

These have been great in helping her maintain and hopefully gain some more weight for the days to come. I too drink these pre and post workout. They give me energy throughout my HIIT class and afterwards help repair muscle with the protein content. Strawberry tastes like my childhood milk drink and I love it. We love it! A little on the pricey side but very much worth it.

This product give me the necessary nutritions that I need and help me recover everyday. It becomes a must in my life and I like it!
