Initially drank to prevent any more wait loss. Had no appetite for food, but loved the taste of the Ensure. Now I drink one Ensure Plus for the 300 mg of Calcium with 80% Vit D. For helping to get the nutrition to maintain good bone health. People start to loose bone density, per research, at age 20 to 30; so getting enough calcium and Vit D (helps absorb the calcium) is one important factor to maintain bone density and aid against Osteoporosis. The bisphosphonate (e.g. Reclast) doctors are prescribing for osteopenia (to me and others, a normal part of aging) can have serious side affects. So I'll take my Ensure to help in providing part fo the 1200 mg of calcium and 400 to 800 UI if Vit D needed per day for a women over 50 years. I might like to see an Ensure targeted at providing just the nutrients needed for stronger bones. (Calcium with Vit D, and I per my research Magnesium is also important )

The ease of just reaching for a bottle of Dark Chocolate that's a meal in and of itself, with the BONUS of great taste, can't be overestimated. I've also recently discovered the Coffee Latte flavor in the Regular formula, and THAT may soon become my new nutritional obsession. Can't do without my Ensure!

I've been drinking the Ensures Plus for years now. You guys changed the recipes on me and I dont like the taste. I loved the old one. This 40% thing just taste heavier on my stomach. I hope you guys can change the recipe back to normal. Right now I weigh 134lb. if I stop drinking these I go back to 120 please change it back. For both Vanilla and Pecan

He tried other similar brands, but either it upset his stomach, or wasn’t really crazy about the taste. Ensure Plus was exactly what he needed, no upset stomach, loves the taste (Milk Chocolate is his most favorite), and I never have to remind him to drink it. He’s getting the nutrients and calories he needs from Ensure Plus. It’s a win, win!

Butter Pecan is the only flavor I can tolerate and it's great, in my opinion. Unfortunately, Butter Pecan [Plus] appears to be going the way of other favorite ensure flavors. Price is double what I paid for it a month ago or totally unavailable. That's always an indication that the product is discontinued or soon to be discontinued. You'd think in this day and age more options would be available, yet that doesn't seem to be the case.

It give us energy to get throw a long work day. High School band practice is so much better/easier for the older children. Taekwondo practice also. We don't always get to eat right but Ensure sure helps us get nutrition we need for the day.

He is a skinny guy and his doctor recommended he gain or at least maintain his weight. It's a quick, healthy and tasty way to get extra calories into a teen.
