If taken with st least two meals a day, it gives you many more calories than you can get from a glass of milk or ice tea. The extra protein is great for helping to keep healthy and strong. After being ill for some time, it has made me feel much better.

I got out of the hospital after being in for 10 days most of which was no food, no water. Was on a soft food diet so I started taking ensure to get the nutrients my body needed. I was taking with Carafate. I got extremely constipated with putty like stool. Looked online and it’s a common problem when taking both. Had to stop taking Ensure. Wish their was more warnings with drug interactions.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After 17 days in the hospital recovering from Colon surgery I started drinking Ensure Plus every day. I am convinced it made me heal and get back to normal quite quickly. I've tried all of the different flavors, and I like all of them.

I started drinking these cause my mother was in the hospital and they kept giving them to her and she wouldn't drink them. I was already down to 94 lbs and I started drinking them at home too and from Dec to Jan I had gained 10 lbs and another 4 since then. I am so happy with the results cause I can't gain weight and I have also lost my appetite because I was starving myself so my kids could eat and now my eating habits aren't so great! I started with the chocolate which I liked but they started to hurt my stomach so I switched to the vanilla and keep them cold and they taste so good! When I don't feel like eating I can at least get some nutrients and calories and protein in my body! Thank you ensure!

I have more energy and have slowly lost a few pounds, which I need to do. Ensure in the evening before bed ensures a good night sleep for me. I feel relaxed knowing I have cared for my nutrients. My daughter lost a lot of weight because of a health problems so I have been supplying her with Ensure. She loves the flavor and the results of getting her strenght back. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] ENSURE PLUS has more Protein and Calories than the Regular Ensure to help maintain your weight and energy, although there are only two flavors Vanilla or Chocolate the consistancy and flavor are both pleasing to the taste.

I have been in cancer treatment since 12/2018 and I lost 30 pounds since that time, I struggle with having an appetite and I'm now working on gaining weight since I finished chemo in April. I found that the butter pecan and the strawberry are really good and do not have that "chalky taste" that a lot of protein drinks have. I first tried the vanilla and chocolate and I did not like either of those and found them very difficult to consume because of both the texture and the flavor but strawberry and butter pecan are both really good.
