Her chemo treatments left her without energy and appetite, her taste changed completely and wouldn't tolerate salty foods. Ensure was the only thing that kept her alive since she refused pretty much everything in the fridge. It gave her the vitamins and nutrients she needed while going to chemo. I lost extreme amounts of weight and was feeling awful. I had no nutrients & my baby was taking all I had stored. I tried the strawberry flavor ensure mixed with other fruits and vegetables and it really had a great taste. now it is part of my regular breakfast and also a snack at the end of the day. And my goal was accomplished. I gained 10 pounds.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Except for the regular formula of Ensure, the lids are too tight. I can easily take the lid off of the one with 9 gm of protein, but I think all others are so tight that I had to buy an electric bottle cap opener and that is slow.

Had to have my neurologists do a craniotomy to cut open my skull and clip the aneurysm's. My heart failure didn't require a stint or pacemaker. I'm now back to normal.
