I have Tourettes and OCD and eating solid food is incredibly difficult. I dropped to a weight of sub-110 lb. and I'm 5'11". Ensure Plus has saved me from having worse issues and has got me getting some of my weight back. Hopefully I'll be able to eat solid food better soon, but I'll always be having Ensure in the future because it simply tastes really good and is a great thing to have in the morning to get my mind ready for the day. As some other people mentioned - having more calories, such as 500+, in one drink would be even better since I still am underweight. But the fact stands that, without having Ensure around, my health situation would probably be very scary.

I am a very busy person and sometimes I do not have time to eat or even snack so I will drink an Ensure and it keeps me going for the day. I feel like I’ve had a meal and do not feel hungry at all. Better than any milkshake I have ever had, which is wonderful because I need the extra vitamins, minerals, and protein in order to regain strength after being ill. I personally enjoy it best frozen and defrosted for a few minutes in the microwave so it is still somewhat thick. That way I can drink it slowly over about 30 min. while it thaws. I would definitely recommend this method if you find drinking Ensure Plus feels you up a bit too much, or if you have any texture issues with it since it is fairly thick.

Care for a 36 year old granddaughter that had a bad stroke. When I get weak I drink a strawberry ENSURE several time a day. I love the taste of the strawberry best, but they all give me the energy to make it another day. Without drinking the ENSURE I DON'T BELIEVE I could. thanks to the maker of ENSURE.

I buy 10 six packs monthly for my mother who has Lupus who otherwise can barely eat and we are both SO thankful for it. She has always been active, teaching all of our children to play Nintendo, etc and with Ensure she can still have the ability to keep up with life even with Lupus!!
