I took the recommended and woke up in the middle of the night with a sharp pain to my upper abdomen I could not move and was sweating profusely and had to be rushed to the ER and was diagnosed with gastritis because of dulcolax.

I never had a need for being irregular, but, when I did, I tried Ducolax and it works. Not only that, but "clean-up" in that "area" is easier, and quicker.
