This brown sugar starts clumping badly if not used very quickly. You cannot break up the clumps either. I wish my Sam's Club would carry another brand. I try to do almost all of my shopping at Sam's, but I've given up on this product. I first thought maybe I didn't close the bag right or stored it in the wrong place so I gave it another shot, but with no success. I buy C & H brown sugar at Walmart instead for this reason.
