I bought this product for a "travel" Roku device. The ability to connect both HDMI and power to the back of most TVs is the key feature for me, plus an easier pack in the suitcase. So far all is well, however I would like to be able to use headphones from the remote like the older devices. Please bring this feature back... I may try to pair an older remote to this new device, not sure if that will work. Changing the caption features to a setting on the menu instead of conveniently from the * button was an odd choice, put it back. I still wish you could pair a Bluetooth keyboard for entering e-mail addresses, if you did it opens the door to a lot more functionality in the future. Think about it.

This is my first streaming stick and I love it. I have 2 others Roku devices but they are the small box type and the stick is out of sight which I like. Super easy to get up and running. We have completely dumped the cable / satellite companies and are saving a ton of money.

Got this for Christmas to replace my old Roku I'd had for 6 years. It will only play for about 4 minutes before it starts reloading/ buffering. So annoying. I ordered an hdmi extender to see if that helped, if not I'm returning it. No issues with my old one for almost 6 years (it wasn't the stick version).

Works well on 10 year old AOC TV with HDMI Port 1.4. HDCP error prevents use on a second 10 year old AOC TV with HDMI Port 1.4 downstairs. Chromecast and Blue Ray player work on both TV's with no HDCP error. Roku Tech Support has been totally useless and keeps repeating the same scripted response that does not work.

I bought this specifcally to put on my Samsung because I hate the remote on it. However the new stick would not load on to it. All my other Roku sticks have but not this one. Worked perfectly on the Vizio that I do not necessarily need it for. So I am back to the Roku stick that was still on the Samsung. I just wish I could get rid of the dancing Roku's.

We were tired of paying for so many channels that we never watch and didn't want. Most of our watching has been streaming. We were afraid of losing out on a few of our favorite channels but with Roku have found several others to take their places. We have only had our Roku sticks for a few weeks and are having fun finding new interesting shows to watch. So far we love it and can now avoid the high cost of Cable.

We have had a normal Roku for about a year now and we love it so we wanted something for our bedroom that wouldn't take up as much room so we got the Roku stick and it's been a dream! The remote signal is a little wonky sometimes and might take a few tries to register the keystrokes but that's the only issue we have had this far. Love Roku!

I had problems getting good reception at my garage TV with a Roku 3. I would get “poor”, “fair” or “good” readings at the most. When I installed the Roku streaming stick plus which claims to have 4 times the reception I was pleasantly surprised. My reception now reads “excellent” at all times and the Roku performs just like my othe Roku which is close to the router.

Replaced my 1st generation stick . . . now faster, with other highlights that control the tv (power, sound . . . altho with separate sound system it doesn't work) etc, it is well worth it. Altho, had to go thru everything to re-install my streaming channels which was bit of a pain . . . was hoping it would recognize me by way of my email address and pw.

My old Roku 3 played nicely with my Vizio TV and Vizio Sound bar outputting audio through my Audio Return Channel (ARC), however I cannot get the Streaming stick plus to do the same thing. I'm forced to use the optical connection instead which is not ideal. With the old Roku 3 I could even change my sound bar's volume using the side buttons on the remote which as far as I know was an unadvertised feature but super handy nonetheless! If my old Roku 3 supported 4k, I'd go back to using it instead. I called Roku customer support but they really didn't have any idea what I was talking about and there was a bit of a language barrier issue.
