My son told us about it, we bought one right away.I loved it but my husband didn't take interest. Now he is totally hooked and we are getting ready to get another. You can watch what you want to watch when you want to, however, in that case you will have to pay. But YouTube is always there, that's one of my favorites.

I got two trying to cut the cord....was using first one on YouTube TV and worked great but went to Direct TV Now and got the second one for my Samsung TV that didn't have the app...I found that on you tube TV no real buffering issue but direct TV now it does....I got an ultra box and for some reason the Stick plus on second TV didn't buffer as much after....the ultra box hardly any if none for buffering......I had ordered the free power adapter from Roku so perhaps since it is powered up all the time it was buffering but it did it before too...but now with one Ultra box and the stick + it isnt as much....

This device is so good at picking up a weak signal. I have had problems with other devices, but this one if flawless so far. Also with a previous Roku device, I experience difficulty and contact Roku. They not only resolved the problem in a very timely fashion, but called a few days later to ensure that the problem was fully resolved and to see if I needed further assistance. This service is "awesome" especially when compared to other tech companies.

less than one week in with streaming stick plus I can say some good and some not so good. to the point.... I love the fact when I go to an app it loads it flawlwssly... this is a major plus over the amazon firestick and fire tv. Also when watching there is no frozen pic (yet) and seems to work perfectly. Now the 2 things I wish they would change and both are with the remote control. First issue is the feel of the buttons, especially the up, down, left and right and OK.... They should be raised so you can feel them better in the dark. Not a deal breaker but annoying.....second issue is the 'previous channel" button. I understand each app has it's own programs so this is not a roku only issue. on the sling app the previous channel works fine....on the spectrum choice app it does not work at all. This is a pain in the neck because you can't go back to previous channel and instead have to go to the guide to change channel....TOTAL PAIN!!! This is something spectrum needs to fix but roku should be able to do something here....

Just got my new Roku stick plus. Solved my buffering issues with the basic Roku since it has 4 times the wifi signal. Have still noticed a few times the show will repeat it self a few seconds but figure that might be with the network itself. Many others could address the cause of the short repeats.

My wife and I started with the Roku Stick and we've bought every iteration. The benefits of the new Stick+ were immediate and easily won my wife over. From a noticeable boost in onscreen menu responsiveness to the remote with power (for both the TV AND the stick!), voice, and volume buttons, this is the stick cordcutters have been waiting for. My only critique would be the lack of a Source button in case you want to switch over to HD Antenna or another device temporarily. I can't really fault them though since I'm sure they'd rather have you using the Roku 100% of the time.

We have 4 Roku Tvs and one other TV with a Roku box. I had an Amazon Fire Stick on the tv I bought this Roku Stick for, but I DID NOT like Amazon Fire Stick and I'm just thrilled AGAIN with my replacement with the Roku Stick... We love Roku... We are a Roku Family...!!!

I bought this Roku because the smart TV that I had did not have that many great apps aside from Netflix, and Youtube. I needed something that would allow me to stream those apps, plus apps like HBO Now and Hulu. It gave me all of that and more. The 4K content is decent too. The only thing I don't like is being forced to put my credit card information in just to make an account. I like to be able to put that info in ONLY when I need to. Other than that it's great and it's the best money I've spent this year.

I have only had the streaming stick + for a few days but the improvement of reception over the old mod 2 was immediately noticeable. Very few stalls and they only last a second or two. Your service help is still terrible!!! Sometimes we need to speak to a person and you aren't available.

I bought this Roku Streaming Stick and it is way better than the original Roku. I don't have to have my TV control to Turn on/off my TV nor raise or lower the volume as well. It is perfect as is, however, one of the things I didn't like from the original Roku is that the battery's burned out quickly and had to change them for more. I don't know if this Roku Streaming Stick is more efficient extending the life of the batteries. If not, I suggest you upgrade it to having a charger port you can place by your bedside table/nightstand.
