I've really enjoyed using this product from day 1. It is very easy to configure and get up and running. Using the product is simple. Recently took to on vacation and my father was using it with no problems and no prior experience. I really like the user experience and how easy it is to get my content.

I have been using Roku devices for many years. In the past, there was always a few glitches here and there that would show up while using them. This started showing major improvement with the Roku 3 that I purchased and then last with the model 3600 streaming stick. Now the hardware is not only fast in the menus but reliable and stable as well. Picture quality is as good as any streaming device I have owned and I have used many. The new remote control with voice, TV power and volume controls are a great upgrade from the 3600 model streaming stick. I can now watch TV with one remote control and that is very handy. If I could change anything it would be the integration of a TV guide type of application, such as the TV app on the Apple TV. There is a version of this on the remote app, but it is not as detailed as the version I have used on Apple TV. It would be nice to have this type of thing visible on the device and not just on the app. I suspect Roku will create something like this in the future. They are a responsive company that cares about the customer experience. What makes this a 5-star device though is the quality matched with the price. The closest competitor is a Fire TV, but they push you more toward the Amazon content while Roku is content agnostic with all but iTunes available to access. The menus are prettier on Fire TV, but the simplicity of access better on the Roku. I would argue that the quality and stability of the software is better as well. Overall this is a great device that gives you 4K without breaking your budget to do so. The fact that it does all of this with a simplistic and reliable platform makes it even better.

I have two Roku Streaming Sticks, the Express for the bedroom and the Streaming Stick + for the living room, which I am happy with both units. The Stick+ is plugged into an Onkyo AVR with a Vizio 4K/HDR tv and delivers an excellent picture. So glad I dropped cable! My only complaint is since I plugged the stick into the AVR I can not use the Roku remote to turn the tv on/off and eliminate the tv remote.

I have 2 other roku devices on my smaller TVs. I had a large LG Roku TV but it was damaged in a house fire. I recently replaced that TV and unfortunately it is a "smart TV" but not a Roku tv. I watch Philo as my TV and could not do that with the smart TV interface. I needed a new Roku. I suppose I would have been fine with the simple stick but I really like the ability to use both the 2.4 and 5G signal bands if I need to. This does exactly what I wanted it for without the fancier (but not necessary to me) features that some of the higher end models have. Set up was literally a minute and everything was running and I was watching the Science channel again

I opted for ROKU when my Apple TV bit the dust. This is soooo much easier and using the iPhone app makes it even easier to navigate around and enter your username and passwords to the sites you subscribe to. Considering that this was half the price of the next generation Apple TV, there was not question. The only thing I do not have is streaming what is on my iPad on the TV screen - but that is a minor inconvenience.

I have owned a few Roku devices now. This one is the fastest one of the ones that I have owned. I do like the volume feature addition. Tried to use the voice feature and had less than usable results. Can't say I'd use it even if it did work well anyway. Same type remote with some new features, ie: voice, tv volume control. As usual, the Roku has a plethora of channels to choose and add to your "home" lineup. I recommend this Roku over the older models if you are considering to upgrade to another of the "Stick" type device.

I have multiple Roku devices over the years. It was time to purchase an additional device for a new TV. I was hesitant to purchase a USB device because of some bad experiences in the past. Boy was I wrong! Clean signal with no pixel distortion, easy controls and quick setup. It clearly met and exceeded my expectations. Would I purchase this device again, yes in a heart beat.

I was a skeptic, but I have a 2017 smart tv that NEVER updates, so I really needed this in order to watch more apps. It has all the apps I currently need, and makes my tv faster than it was. My modem is in the same room as the tv, so the response is super fast. Love that I only have one remote now too. So far it's working very well for my needs.

It is a lot faster and the menus are easier to read. Great device, the only issue I have is that I did not read the specs well enough to understand that the volume control will not work on external sound devices that are NOT controlled by the TV set.. Not a show stopper but a feature I really would like to have.

This is my 3rd purchase of Roku device and current one is loose wireless connection every few minutes. My family can't even complete any single show with out getting frustrated. I checked internet/wireless service. All other wireless device works great. Not sure what to do.
