Can someone explain why there's a pop-up screen that appears/disappears/reappears in the top left corner that displays "LCD TV" and several boxes (it looks like technical/spec stuff, but not sure)? It happens across apps, and covers navigation and screen while watching programs. Super annoying and despite searching high and low, can't seem to find clear instructions on how to make this pop-up disappear. I've seen other tutorials about other ad pop-ups on Roku, but not this specific one. NEVER had this problem with Firestick. It's intrusive, annoying and ruins the watching experience. Freely admit this could be user error/easy to fix, but so far ... haven't found anything that addresses this problem for the Roku Streaming Stick+.

I've been a loyal Roku user since 2012 (donated my old 2500 device) and currently have 3 newer Roku devices. I have 2 Roku Express that I got about a year ago and recently bought a Streaming Stick + back in June that works great with the Directv Now streaming TV service. With Directv Now there is no need to pay cable set top box rental fees and they don't have or charge for duplicate and infomercial filler channels. Roku offers so much other content that makes it easy to cut the traditional cable TV cord like my wife and I did back in January.

For the price of the device I would have thought the HDMI extender for it. A lot of TV's do not have the room to plug it in. Sure they offer a free one if you request it, but who wants to wait for it to come in. I used on that came with a Fire stick and it works fine.

I bought a Roku Streaming Stick earlier today and it has not worked for me. My signal strength says excellent but nothing is loading. I got in touch with a CSR and basically after a factory reset that's all they could do and all they can offer is a replacement that is not guaranteed to work. I feel like i have wasted my money and I am displeased as I have another Roku that works just fine. I just want my money back.

I have used Roku sense early introduction and this Roku streaming stick Plus is my very favorite device. I love the volume and the power button on the remote and the 4K pictures are beautiful. I appreciate being able to enjoy my 4K television with my Roku. It's a really good value for its price as well.

I bought this Roku yesterday to replace the Roku Express that we have been using in the living room. Our old one started to freeze fairly frequently and we wanted something we could connect to our 5 GHz connection. The only reason this isn't getting a five star rating is because every so often I get a message that the Roku has low power. I believe it's from the power cord being plugged into the tv but I honestly don't want to have to run another power cord considering everything else that is plugged in by the tv.

Purchased this an an upgrade to the Stick I had used for a few years. Shortly after we began to develop connectivity and playback quality issues. After jumping thru a couple hoops with customer service the unit was ultimately replaced under warranty. The replacement unit again began developing connection & playback issues after a couple of months. Now after 2 mos of dealing with BS from customer service I'm told it's an ISP issue. Except that all my other devices connect & stay connected just fine even while the Roku+ experiences a problem.

My cable bill (Comcast) kept getting higher and higher so I took my cable box out and put in a roku! It's fast, I can watch anything I want to whenever I want to and it was so easy to install. I love it! There are so many options out there to stream!

The stick lasted less than a year. It hates connecting to the internet. The remote works when it feels like it. The extender for the overheating issue is only slightly effective. Could be a bad unit. I have never had a Roku player break down before. I threw it out and bought the Ultra.

I have 2 Roku Ultras bought within 2 weeks of each other. 1 Roku needs rebooted frequently for the past 16 months, now it is completely dead. Other Roku is starting to show the exact same symptoms. I have tried different power supplies and that hasn't helped. Of course neither is under warranty. Oh well no more Roku for me.
