I just got my new Roku stick the other and of course it is a vast improvement over the older model. The reason I gave it 4 stars is the volume button was place in the wrong position when I'm changing channels the volume button and mute button get activated by my fingers. That and also the fact the code if you for get is hard to go back and start all over to program your roku stick other than that is a vast improvement over the older one.

I haven't noticed any difference between this and the "express." Performace seems about the same. Plus, this was very difficult to plug into my TV because it is so long. Would be nice if ROKU came up with an "offset" model, or something more compact that would be easier to plug in. The recessed portion of my TV is barely large enough. I know they make an extension that I can buy, but what I liked about this model was that it would be hidden behind my tv, instead of sitting next to it or hanging off the side.

I bought this device to use downstairs a floor away from my router for the better wireless connection. When using the auto detect feature for TV resolution it started to go crazy on the screen flashing different screens and static and noise. I had to change it down manually to only use 720p resolution though the TV is capable of running 1080p resolution. I will update my rating dependingof the wireless option improves over the Roku 2

I bought this product to eliminate my cable company's box rental, a savings of over $150.00 a year. This is great. Still, it takes about 30 seconds to get to the home screen. There is the Roku label and an annoying beep while I am waiting. Otherwise, it is great.

I upgraded my roku to gain this feature: “Private listening Use headphones to listen as loud as you want without disturbing the house” Guess what? I was advised by customer support that the streaming stick + has no headphone feature. I had no reason to buy this and I sorry I did. Very unhappy customer

I bought this about a month ago after reading reviews and asking questions of people who have previously purchased. To say I am less than thrilled is an understatement. The channels I would like to watch are available only by subscription. I am thinking it would have been better to just keep my cable box as it was less expensive than subscribing to different channels on Roku. I guess it is one of those "live and learn, the grass isn't always greener" lessons.

I bought the Roku stick premier couple of days ago so far it's great, I've had The Roku 3 for about 3years and it's never giving me any major problems, my only problem is I wish that you would be able to enter number for channels rather than just scrolling down through every single channel on the list other than that it's great .

This device only works occasionally. I have an identical model roku device that works fine in all locations in my house, so I know the device is defective. I have sent several emails and tried to chat with customer support. I have tried all of their troubleshooting (again in most cases). Some support personnel have been helpful...some have just left the chat without saying anything leaving me to wait in line for another 30-45 minutes. There are many other streaming devices out there. If you want to avoid headaches, shop somewhere else.

Very disappointing.... It freezes on me all the time, and even sometimes it tells me I have no internet connection which is not true. also it's very disappointing that when I turn on the TV there are six steps for me that I have to take before I can even watch TV, and it loads very slowly.....I just don't understand that this is 2018 and with today's technology we have not found a better way to watch TV

I was quite disappointed to discover that my Roku + would not accommodate the new YouTube TV service. Both Roku and YouTube failed to properly inform me that they were not compatible before I wasted my time signing up for a free trial. Why on Earth wouldn't you have this info right up front. My Roku seems quite useless now - a total waste of my $75 - never again!
