I bought this for my living room when my Roku2 I use on my porch stopped working. I like the new voice search, but I wish it you could use it in specific apps like Netflix or Plex not just as a general search. Also, the power works well for powereing my TV on and off, but I wish the volume worked on my sound bar.

My wife and daughter love the new version of the software. We first used Roku while on vacation, it was part of the home rental we stayed at. My wife fell in love with it and when the new updated hardware and software came out I decided to get one. I am a fan of chromecast but roku feels more useful and cross platform. I love having all my favorite searchable streaming services in one place. It also works great with our spectrum tv and internet service.

I bought this about 2 months ago. Once set up, I am very satisfied with the service. It has been more than I expected. Meets all my viewing needs. My only complaint would be that I was unable to get the free HDMI extender after many attempts. It was out of stock so I had to make the purchase.

I'm in the process of research in advance of "cutting the cord". I read all the reviews and settled on the Roku Streaming Stick + and have been very impressed. It couldn't be easier to set up, and the performance is excellent. Great variety of channels that has far exceeded my expectations. Unlike when I would stream from laptop/tablet to Chromecast, there has been no buffering or loss of video quality.

Setup failed on video auto detect. It would ask if the video was ok. I would say ok and then the screen would go black and stay that way. Had to hard reset a number of times and finally choose no auto detect for video. Also problem with remote. Remote would stop responding multiple times

This is our 3rd Roku we've owned over the years. It's impressive to see better quality in a smaller device. On screen install is great! Worked perfect. Made setup so easy. Once set up I went to watch a movie and the picture was blurry for about 3 seconds or so but then it cleared up to where the quality is absolute HD... in my opinion clearer that my old Roku 3. Loading of movies is noticeably faster also. Overall, great product. I definitely recommend the Roku Stick.
