It makes life so much simpler. It's easy to install and set up, although I wish the user and password for a bit easier, like have a "Hotmail.com", "yahoo.com" and if you mistype you have to start all over again, that's a bit annoying. But I love the Roku and rather than the square box the streaming stick means less cords!

Fast, reliable connection and being able to control your tv power and volume all within a simple remote its a plus. Not worrying about apps not being available (like firetv stick) is for me a winner. Compact and being able to transport it without any issues its a plus

Love the voice feature makes finding something specific so easy. So much faster. So nice to use one remote to turn volumne up and down and tv on and off. Not much directions on set up but honestly you don't need it. I'm 70 years old technogy handicaped and I had it going in under 5 min. Only had a coup of days but I'm loving it so far.

before roku I would lose the connection in the middle of a movie,that is frustrating when you have to search to find where you were in the movie. With roku streaming I very selom lose the connection and roku fins where the movie left off. Roku gives more free channels also. To me, roku is well worth the cost.

Wanted a TV in kitchen eating area. No network connection near by so the wifi with the stick is fabulous. Supports 2 and 5 ghz so i could pick the 5ghz band which is best for streaming data. Since the TV has a powered usb port right by the HDMI it was truly plug and play. easy step by step setup. only had for 3 days but zero issues so far. The TV power and volume buttons being on the remote are wonderful. One remote controls it all now.

Ok I have the Roku 3 in which I love. Since I had to buy two more TVs for the my daughters so I got two more Roku . It was an easy set up but But I noticed that the apps that you download from your previous Roku they do not transfer over to the new ones so like an idiot I didn't write down my password for Hulu which it was on my old Roku three but it's not on my two new Roku's. I called customer service they stated that I did not had to put my passwords in if I had the apps before . But other then that I love Roku

Purchased to be able to watch Hulu Live even though I have a smart TV its a sony with android which apparently Hulu live does not support. Had Roku in the past and always been happy with it. This is no exception and much improved since my last one. I love how easy it was to install via hdmi and usb is awesome not needing to run a power cord so long as you have usb on tv of course.

I bought two this month. It's taken me a very long time to decide which one to upgrade to and the Roku Stick was the winner. I love it, easy to install, easy to use and has all the apps I couldn't see on my old one. It even automatically imported my games I purchased 10 years ago with out me having to tell it to. I stream my cable instead of using a box. It runs so well you can't tell the difference between the cable live TV app with premium channels and cable box. I also use Netflix and Amazon prime and Pandora. These also run very well. I have no complaints.

I have a few different Rokus including TVs. I like this one the best. The remote works great unlike the express which you have to point directly at it. It also controls my TV which is a off brand that I have trouble getting remotes to connect to. Overall does the job!

Bought this as an update to my Roku Express. First reason was for updated platform that would show a full schedule for PS Vue app. (My Express just shows current hour and next) Was actually thinking of buying a old PS3 just for the interface, then got this instead and BAM! Problem solved! I now get a full Guide, reaching out a week. Added bonus, its FAST! Loads every app quicker, responds better. Then there's the Remote.. Voice Commands; RF rather than IR, so it can be pointed at the ceiling and still work; AND has Power and Volume that directly controls your TV. (these are IR) A real NICE feature! Over-all very pleased!
