Upgraded from last years Roku Premier--seems to pick up wifi signal better so far--I've only had it less than a week. Bonus of replacing power and volume level of oem remote. There's no need to switch between remotes for my wife who has no patience for those sort of things. It's so good I replaced another Roku in my other bedroom. Another bonus, like previous version it replaces need for cablebox from Spectrum, saving however much you pay per month to rent. This pays for itself in less than 6 months usage.

Let's face it, built-in “smart” TV apps generally suck. I needed something that would perform snappily without crashing all the time while still being able to control my TV. Along comes Roku with volume and power controls on their remote! Bingo! Dump your cable package and ditch your so called smart TV OS for the real deal. It doesn't hurt that they priced this thing lower than a family night at the movies. Bravo, Roku. Bravo!

I've got a Roku 2 XS and have loved it, but this is a huge update/upgrade! It was easy to setup and I love having it plugged into the HDMI port on the side of my TV. The USB port over there makes it totally hidden! And the new remote with TV power/volume is perfect!! Love it!

I like the new on-off and volume control, but the stick did not link properly with my online account for Acorn TV--and I had to work with Acorn directly to work around the issue. Biggest issue was I did not realize the device was not capable of using my highest speed (5g) and would only pick up my lower speed (2.4g) although the stand alone tv worked with the 5g.

we own 2. wanted to "cut the cord" and remove high cost dish/cable this was our first attempt...streaming hulu live...very frustrating. using high speed internet wifi, but it seems we've sacrificed quality as the internet constantly slows down, buffers, interrupting live news making it ...not so live

We have only had this for a little under a week and it has be amazing! Our tv watching experience is amplified by 1 million times! The 4 K UHD is impeccable. I think the sound quality is even better than my regular tv. We are very happy with this streaming stick!

Just hooked up and activated my new Roku® Streaming Stick®+ (model 3810). As a veteran Roku user, I can say that this new stick delivers great performance characteristics on a number of level: easy of installation and use, a noticeably faster response time, and a very handy voice activated remote that also (finally!) allows you to control volume and shut off the TV set itself. There are two things about Roku products that I can recommend: a very long usable life-span, and improved new versions when you're ready to upgrade that actually deliver better performance.

We have been using the standard Roku Streaming Stick for about four years and were generally satisfied with it. But for the past several weeks we have been plagued with slow load times, buffering, and failures to connect. Our router and T.V. are separated by one interior wall and a floor, so we tried adding a router booster, but that didn't help. All of these problems disappeared when we connected the Roku Streaming Stick Plus. Connections are now fast and reliable. Problems solved.

I just bought two streaming sticks, one for the living room and one for my room, to upgrade us from the Roku boxes. I'm so glad that I did because now we have one less cord hanging from the T.V. The voice control is awesome, press the button and say "YouTube" and it comes right up - you can even search for the YouTube channel you want using voice control. I must say I don't like having an ESPN quick button as we're not a sports family - maybe that could have been a choose-your-own channel button? Overall, we've had these streaming sticks for about a week and we're enjoying them. Oh, and the set up - quick and easy - I did both T.V.'s in less than 10 minutes!

After becoming frustrated with the rising cost of my cable bill I began to research ways I could cut my cable bill. I found roku thru reviews provided by the Cord Cutters newsletter. I especially like the ease of setup, navigation, and adding channels. I also like the feature that I can control my current TVs with just one remote. Thank you Roku in my cord cutting journey.
