I purchased my first Roku on January 1st 2016, New Year's day, it was a Roku Express and I cut all ties with cable. Today I upgraded to The Roku Premier.....3 years and I'm still in love with Roku, I have one in every room in my house, even the Roku TV in my walk in closet! The apps, the updates, even the screen savers are excellent! I was given a fire stick for Christmas.....it's still in the box!

I use Roku since 2016 and this stick is one of the best stick that I ever used, the on/off and volume button really helps during everyday use. The option to see which apps I can rent a movie is the best feature of roku. The only disadvantage of Roku comparing to the opponent is the lack of having a browser like Firefox or Chrome. I miss a lot the option to navigate on internet while listening to my spotify songs(two apps at the same time) on roku. I can do this using the fire tv.

Bought this a week ago and my kids love it! Not only is there stuff on there for me but for them as well. They love being able to watch their shows and play free games on the tv with just the remote! So many free things to watch with a few ads. Just like Cable only Cheaper!

I bought three of these to add to other TV's in the house (we alrady had a couple of the older style Roku sticks in use). This stick is a very nice upgrade from our older sticks. These are faster and being able to control many of the TV functions including volume and channel selction with just the Roku remote is great,

We bought two Streaming Stick+'s so that we could "cut the cord" since the cost was becoming too outrageous. Setup was pretty straight forward and we found a lot of content to watch. However, after two weeks here are some of the issues we found, but were easy to fix. One issue that arose is the wireless signal interference from neighboring homes. We live in a townhouse block with four adjoining homes. We could pick up the signals from these homes, with the signals that were coming from homes on either side of us just as strong as our own wireless network signal. This caused problems with the remote and with the Stick as well. We found the solutions after searching on the internet. The first is that we used an extension HDMI cable to bring the stick out from the back of the TV to the front where it was more exposed. The TV is in a cabinet which we read could help block the signals from the remote. I bought a cheap HDMI extender cable from a big box store and installed it between the TV and the Stick. When we did this the remote operated much better, but the picture was affected. We found out you need to make sure you have a high speed HDMI cable rated for 4K@60 Hz, otherwise you're not going to get a picture. Once changed Roku worked fine. The second solution was to change the channel on which the wifi network was operating. You can determine what channels are the least congested and switch your network to operate on that channel. This made a big difference. We bought the two Roku's on sale, so we feel we got good value for what we are getting.

We upgraded from an older version of the Roku streaming stick and are so pleased! Not only is the picture amazing but it was so quick and easy to switch over! The connection is great and we are in a 2400 square foot home where the Router is quite far from our room. So happy we upgraded! Roku is so much more user friendly than our Apple TV or Amazon Fire stick!

I bought this as an upgrade from an early, early model Roku. It was up and running at the furthest point from my wireless router within a couple of minutes. I like that it senses the 5G WiFi and easily taps into the top speeds in my setting.The Voice Control Remote is a cool feature, too.

Positioning of Voice button is the same as the other roku remote's enter button. Dumb move for your previous roku owners. Also, everything is set to auto-play and I can't find how to turn this off on the new roku. There is no help on this and the settings functions are abysmal.

this is a good device, better than I expected. it is fairly fast, again faster than expected this device does not have an HDMI extender cable in the box, though Roku is giving them away for free if you have a qualifying device. I still put the lack of one in the box as a con and docked 1 star off of the review. pros small fast easy to set up nice remote 5ghz wifi has a reset button to bring it back to factory defaults cons(none of these are deal breakers) gets really hot(it is really small so you will want to set it up in a way the heat will not effect it) does not include the HDMI extender in the box please do note if you plan to buy a Roku this one does not have a place for a micro SD card slot for channel memory it has no Ethernet port either if that is important to you

Very happy with the item. Unfortunately, my tv is not compatible with the 4k viewing; however, the hd quality is superior. The apps load quickly and there are several apps to choose from. I like that the remote will turn on/off the tv and has volume control. However, I do find I need to re hit the "OK" button several times in certain circumstances which becomes annoying.
