I decided to get my 3rd Roku device after getting the Roku Ultra and the Roku 2 years before that. I love the ease of use and the unbiased searches. Only grievance with the streaming stick+ model is the size. I have a 2015 Samsung model led tv and had some issue connecting the stick. I purchased an HDMI extender to connect the Roku.

This is my first Roku Streaming Stick + and I am very happy and satisfied with my purchase.I needed the HDMI Extender and I submitted my need to Roku and received one in a fast professional manner. In my usage of this product I would highly recommend this product I have found it to be easy to operate and more of a complete product for my needs compared to other available products.

Purchased the stick to eliminate cable tv which has become to expensive I found myself watching 10 channels consistently while paying for a couple of hundred channels, equipment rentals and a broadcast tv fee. This was my first exposure to streaming tv. I found the process of setting up channels easy but time consuming spent the best part of one day picking and registering channels on my computer. Small price to pay and found many interesting channels I had never heard of. Once you are set up it becomes easy to add delete occasional channels. Especially like the remote control easy to use no frills just the required buttons to get the job done.

this makes my 3rd roku device, (replaces 2nd gen HD; also have a 2xs) and i already want to replace the other older model. the stick+ is a HUGE step up in speed and capability; buffering is minimal to nonexistent, and the tv controls are a stroke of genius. wish i'd upgraded sooner, but glad i held out as i got it as a gift (at black friday pricing). win/win. roku's interface is the best around, and consistently the devices i recommend for cord cutters and new streamers; if you aren't invested in any other ecosystem, roku is the device to have. your parents can use it; heck, your grandparents can use it (the father-in-law loves his!).

My wife and I live on a fixed income. Yet, we love watching TV - both shows and movies. Cabletown was getting way too expensive and we we were paying for many channels we didn't watch. I researched our streaming options and Roku was the obvious choice. Multiple channel options and quality images make the Roku service the only way to go.

I bought this for the living room because my amazon stick did not get good reception. This is so much more user friendly and gets great reception. I love the voice control too! Probably will upgrade my current roku stick in the bedroom so I can take advantage of the voice and tv controls.

Roku is probably the best streaming stick overall. Apple TV is fine if you are already invested with iTunes, but you have to pay for everything. Amazon Fire Stick is good if you have Amazon Prime, and has some free video/media content. Google Chromecast works great for Google Play, and can easily find free video/media content. But Roku has what seems to be the easiest interface to setup and learn and use, plus makes searching for free video/media content relatively simple.

We bought our Roku Streaming Stick 4K+ a month ago and couldn't be happier about it. Super easy to set up and use right out of the box. It's a real bonus that we can easily stream to devices - tablets, laptop, etc. - in other rooms without any buffering or interruptions in service.

I bought this because I like my old streaming stick, but this one surpasses it in every way. One remote for the tv and the Roku is the best feature. It's fast and easy to set up. Great Job Roku. I love Roku and have had a Roku 3 for years now, I can't imagine watching tv or movies without one. It's easy and now even more convenient.

Have had it for a day and am well pleased, thus far. I upgraded form a Roku 3 because of the 4K streaming and the volume/power control for the TV. Set-up was very easy and connecting to my 5.0 network was fairly quick. I am concerned about how hot this stick gets. The heat is my only negative about this product.
