Bought it for an upgrade for my orginial stick one of the first that came out boy I am glad I did, new features like the voice control is Great no more searching Just ask and you receive a list of titles,also the mini trailer it plays so you can see if its what you want to watch. Love the Roku staff made setting it up so easy.

I bought these to get rid of my Cable TV provider. The picture is beautiful, much clearer than the converter box. The system still glitches on occasion, but nothing frustrating, and I do not know if it is the ROKU or my internet. Most likely my internet, as I only have one provider available, and they are not very receptive to issues with their system, as there is no other choice.

We have been using Roku streaming devices for years and they keep getting better all the time. This new streaming stick+ is the best one yet. Super easy to set up, basically just plug and play. The feature list is amazing. If you're thinking about buying your first Roku stick or upgrading from an older model think no further and just buy this one. You will love it!

This Streaming Stick + was a replacement for a Roku 3 which was 6 years old. Great improvements since that time. Easy to install, no HDMI cable, automatically searches for best picture type on the TV, remote controls TV on/off and volume. Better in every possible way and would highly recommend to anyone.

I bought the Roku Streaming Stick+ because my old Roku Box 2 XD had stopped streaming and was knocking me off YouTube and any other Channel I was trying to watch. The streaming was way too slow for the updated Wifi Connection I had just gotten at my home. Now the streaming is excellent, no more waiting for the movie to continue AND the viewing is SO much better! It solved ALL my problems! The only thing I wish the new remote had would be a plug-in for headphones.

I use Roku since 2016 and this stick is one of the best stick that I ever used, the on/off and volume button really helps during everyday use. The option to see which apps I can rent a movie is the best feature of roku. The only disadvantage of Roku comparing to the opponent is the lack of having a browser like Firefox or Chrome. I miss a lot the option to navigate on internet while listening to my spotify songs(two apps at the same time) on roku. I can do this using the fire tv.

We upgraded from an older version of the Roku streaming stick and are so pleased! Not only is the picture amazing but it was so quick and easy to switch over! The connection is great and we are in a 2400 square foot home where the Router is quite far from our room. So happy we upgraded! Roku is so much more user friendly than our Apple TV or Amazon Fire stick!

I purchased a Roku 3 in 2010, and used it for hours every day. Through three moves, and plenty of knocking about, it finally gave up the ghost. I immediately ordered the Roku Streaming Stick +, and I love it. It doesn't take up any room on the table, because it all fits on the back of my TV. It streams amazingly fast, and the ability to use the remote for the TV volume and power, makes it even better.

I bought this as an upgrade from an early, early model Roku. It was up and running at the furthest point from my wireless router within a couple of minutes. I like that it senses the 5G WiFi and easily taps into the top speeds in my setting.The Voice Control Remote is a cool feature, too.

We bought two Streaming Stick+'s so that we could "cut the cord" since the cost was becoming too outrageous. Setup was pretty straight forward and we found a lot of content to watch. However, after two weeks here are some of the issues we found, but were easy to fix. One issue that arose is the wireless signal interference from neighboring homes. We live in a townhouse block with four adjoining homes. We could pick up the signals from these homes, with the signals that were coming from homes on either side of us just as strong as our own wireless network signal. This caused problems with the remote and with the Stick as well. We found the solutions after searching on the internet. The first is that we used an extension HDMI cable to bring the stick out from the back of the TV to the front where it was more exposed. The TV is in a cabinet which we read could help block the signals from the remote. I bought a cheap HDMI extender cable from a big box store and installed it between the TV and the Stick. When we did this the remote operated much better, but the picture was affected. We found out you need to make sure you have a high speed HDMI cable rated for 4K@60 Hz, otherwise you're not going to get a picture. Once changed Roku worked fine. The second solution was to change the channel on which the wifi network was operating. You can determine what channels are the least congested and switch your network to operate on that channel. This made a big difference. We bought the two Roku's on sale, so we feel we got good value for what we are getting.
