The Roku Streaming Stick is my third Roku device (I now have Roku's for all three TVs in my home). All devices have been easy to install. The directions are very clear. But the best thing about the Streaming Stick is the voice remote. I had voice controls on my remote when I had cable TV and loved that feature. So now that I only stream, I am thrilled to be able to use voice controls with my Roku device.

Purchased the stick to eliminate cable tv which has become to expensive I found myself watching 10 channels consistently while paying for a couple of hundred channels, equipment rentals and a broadcast tv fee. This was my first exposure to streaming tv. I found the process of setting up channels easy but time consuming spent the best part of one day picking and registering channels on my computer. Small price to pay and found many interesting channels I had never heard of. Once you are set up it becomes easy to add delete occasional channels. Especially like the remote control easy to use no frills just the required buttons to get the job done.

My new Roku streaming stick+ was very easy to set up and it is very easy to use. My primary reason for purchasing this device was for cutting the cable with my local provider and save money which I am in the process of doing now. I would highly recommend this model or any other Roku device to friends and family… I am very happy with my purchase.

Not a family friendly device. No parental controls. A pin is not sufficient. It only requires the pin to be entered when adding a new channel. Not when selecting an individual movie or show. I do not want my children seeing ALL title images. Really wish there was a way to block certain ads/promotions and ratings. Very disappointing. Wish the creators would have put more effort or consideration into the design for parental controls.

I own a Roku 3 player and a TCL Roku TV and love the Roku interface. I wanted to watch TV without a cable box on another TV in my house and with the Roku Stick and the Spectrum TV app, you can watch live TV - all the channels in my existing cable package, without paying for a digital converter or cable box. You even get the guide for free on the app. Of course, you can stream any number of channels too. I find the YouTube streaming far superior to my Chromecast. The setup is easier than ever -- just follow the simple directions. I also like the new remote that instantly recognized the brand of my TV and configured itself to be able to turn the power on/off land the volume. I like the fact that Roku's servers make streaming nearly flawless and I also like the fact that the Roku system is "agnostic." It's not having a fight with Apple or Google or Amazon and it will stream any service you can think of. The Roku channel it the only place I could find some old TV shows like Bewitched to stream for free! Yah!

We bought our Roku Streaming Stick 4K+ a month ago and couldn't be happier about it. Super easy to set up and use right out of the box. It's a real bonus that we can easily stream to devices - tablets, laptop, etc. - in other rooms without any buffering or interruptions in service.

I have only had it in operation for about three days now but I find it hands over feet ahead of the old unit. The picture is much better and the volume is ten times better than the control on my TV and I have a state of the art TV. I wouldn't trade this one for anything.

I love Roku products and this 4k stick is no exception. Performance is good, 4k response is also pretty solid, but of course a solid a/c router is required, and a wired connection is better especially for 4k. The one missing feature that would make Roku devices the master of all in my environment is if the OS would support Silicondust's HDHomeRun app.

I purchased my first Roku on January 1st 2016, New Year's day, it was a Roku Express and I cut all ties with cable. Today I upgraded to The Roku Premier.....3 years and I'm still in love with Roku, I have one in every room in my house, even the Roku TV in my walk in closet! The apps, the updates, even the screen savers are excellent! I was given a fire stick for Christmas.....it's still in the box!

I am a confirmed Roku customer with many devices throughout my home. I recently upgraded to the Premiere+ devices for 2 tv's and took a go at the Stick+. Wow, it really works! It is just as fast as the Premiere+, has the voice commands and is so easy to setup. The voice commands are superb and accurate. It works quickly, even with my English accent. Buy it!
