Streaming is my ONLY option for TV. I bought this for my bedroom because my older Roku Stick and Fire Stick couldn't function with my weak Wi-Fi signal. This improved stick is WONDERFUL! Worked so well and never loses signal, even with live streaming. I love the integrated power and volume controls! No more juggling remotes. I'm very impressed.

I have different rokus and this one is very good since it has option for tv like turn on/off and volume control. I wish it have a feature like the fire stick that with your cable subscription it will remember the username and password and put it in all of them, just download and open it. It is a tedious task to put it manually in each one of them after a month or so.

I purchased a Roku Streaming Stick+ so that I could add AppleTv to my channel line up. I LOVE IT! The picture quality is amazing, and there's absolutely no buffering even though my television is pretty far from my wireless router. And I love that I can use the roku remote to control my TV's power and volume.

I have other Roku devices but this is the first stick I have tried. I got it because it was cheaper, but to my surprise, it is easier to set up and the quality of the streaming seems to equal the more expensive Roku devices that I previously bought. We have a Roku for each TV and are happily cable free. Great interface for Sling, Netflix, Hulu, etc. Terrific picture quality, and you only need one remote.

I have two Rokus that are a bit older, and the advertising led me to think that the newer models would stream faster and have less buffering but I was disappointed since I don't see much difference. To be fair, there is some difference, but in my opinion, not enough to warrant purchasing a new one. Overall, I have been happy with my other Rokus. I just didn't need a new one if it wasn't going to be a much better viewing experience. I also don't like the new setup. I guess I'll get used to it over time, but it's so much different than the other ones that I find it really awkward. My husband likes it, but I'm not a fan. And, since I don't see a very noticeable difference in the streaming and buffering, I may just go back to using the old one.

Great new Roku, our last one finally died after many years. Happy to get a new one, MUCH faster and love the new format. ONLY PROBLEM: At first I liked the idea of the TV/Volume control on my Roku remote but it was terrible once installed. It controls the TV volume, not the entertainment system speakers. So every time I touched it it turned on the TV volume (which I normally keep muted to use the Panasonic speakers). BIG problem!! And then it also kept turning on the TV after I shut it down for the night!! I would shut down the TV and Roku would put it back on! (over and over again) I panicked at first because there were no instructions as to how to REMOVE this feature once installed. But then I realized i could just install again and told the setup system that "the music stopped" when it didn't. Therefore it was set for a remote that would not operate my TV. Would have given 5 stars on everything except for this issue.

I bought this yesterday and the set up is really easy. Most of the accounts populated automatically and only had to input 2 passwords. This is the 3rd Roku in the house, the only is issue I am having is the up arrow on the remote is not working very well. It was frustrating doing those passwords as a result.

My wife and daughter love the new version of the software. We first used Roku while on vacation, it was part of the home rental we stayed at. My wife fell in love with it and when the new updated hardware and software came out I decided to get one. I am a fan of chromecast but roku feels more useful and cross platform. I love having all my favorite searchable streaming services in one place. It also works great with our spectrum tv and internet service.

While it's not used for UHD or 4K this little stick works very well on a low-end Vizio. The IR/RF remote lag time is hardly noticed and yes, this lil' monster has excellent wireless 5GHz range. Though the power and volume buttons were never set up so I cannot comment on them. Same with the voice since foreign accents won't usually work. I'll try them again later.

When I finally got fed up with cable TV gouging prices I switched over to Roku. My son has been using Roku for awhile now and I thought I'd give it a go. Great decision! I get a clear picture on my TV and I get so many choices of viewing channels/stations.
