I had to get a new box with my current cable system, I would have to have one for each TV and pay rental on the boxes. Instead, I purchased the Roku stick and I am not only able to hook up to my cable system, but I have tons of free movies and TV programs to watch on a number of stations. Instructions to set up were easy, big plus for me as I am technically challenged. And I keep finding channels that do not charge! I have already recommended it to all my friends.

Roku devices are a great alternative to expensive cable or satellite packages. I installed 2 of these last night. Clear directions on installation, mostly automated. Great to have TV power & volume controls on the remote. Starts up fast and is very quick to open apps and load content. These replaced 2 older Roku sticks (3500 & 3600) which worked well but were getting very slow to open and load content. This 3810 model is blazing fast in comparison. The stick is a nice clutter-free alternative to a box. Overall I am very pleased with Roku hardware, software, and web site.

We bought two Streaming Stick+'s so that we could "cut the cord" since the cost was becoming too outrageous. Setup was pretty straight forward and we found a lot of content to watch. However, after two weeks here are some of the issues we found, but were easy to fix. One issue that arose is the wireless signal interference from neighboring homes. We live in a townhouse block with four adjoining homes. We could pick up the signals from these homes, with the signals that were coming from homes on either side of us just as strong as our own wireless network signal. This caused problems with the remote and with the Stick as well. We found the solutions after searching on the internet. The first is that we used an extension HDMI cable to bring the stick out from the back of the TV to the front where it was more exposed. The TV is in a cabinet which we read could help block the signals from the remote. I bought a cheap HDMI extender cable from a big box store and installed it between the TV and the Stick. When we did this the remote operated much better, but the picture was affected. We found out you need to make sure you have a high speed HDMI cable rated for 4K@60 Hz, otherwise you're not going to get a picture. Once changed Roku worked fine. The second solution was to change the channel on which the wifi network was operating. You can determine what channels are the least congested and switch your network to operate on that channel. This made a big difference. We bought the two Roku's on sale, so we feel we got good value for what we are getting.

I upgraded from the Streaming Stick 3500X and LOVE my new Roku Streaming Stick+ it has so many great new features. I like how I only have to use one remote to operate the tv itself and my Roku, along with having the ability to do voice control. It's worth the price!

I bought this to replace my old Roku that was slowing down and not letting me access certain shows on Amazon. This is the newest of my 3 Roku's and I just love them. Some people leave negative reviews because they thought they were buying an Android box to stream restricted shows. Please don't listen to those people as they're ignorant as to what The Roku can do. I endorse this product without reservation.

Working great. Had to buy because the sharp Roku Tv I just bought has weak WiFi. Cuts in and out. Wish I never bought the tv. My router is only 25 feet from tv. I have 6 other Roku products and love them all. Wish I could be compensated for this tv. New streaming stick is great love the voice search and new tv power and volume features.

This is our third Roku for our home. We have been so happy with the performance that we decided to try this one more in a room with very poor WiFi signal. It works great and we are so very pleased with the picture, speed and audio. I highly recommend this unit for streaming, especially in low signal areas!

I love that I am able to control the TV on/off and volume from the Roku remote. The picture is very clear and it allows me to select "who's watching" on several of the channels. I have had Roku 1, 2, 3 and now Streaming Stick+. The only feature this one doesn't have that I like on the others is a headphone jack.

I have the original ROKU stick (7 yrs old) which still works, the improvements are immediately noticeable. Faster speed, improved picture, remote control response and options, upgraded channel/station displays. And the TV is controlled by the ROKU remote, solid ROKU product, again.

Better than the original model. Like the volume control. Bought this because of the voice control commands. I use Spectrum TV app and the voice control doesn't work with it to go to a specific channel # or channel name. It is very frustrating manually going all the way to channel 780.
