I bought this cover previously. It does a very good job protecting against day to day bangs and drops. However the rubber flaps that protect the ports fail VERY rapidly. I am a light phone user (charge my phone at most 2-3 times per week) and the flap covering the power port cracked and fell off after just a couple months necessitating the purchase of a new cover.

I've had this product for a week and purchased partly on the strength of past experience with Otter Box products. This case is solid in the hand, well made and inspires confidence that it will protect my phone well. I would recommend Otter Box cases to anyone looking for reliable protection for their phone investment, and I would buy this product again.

The defender makes the phone really heavy but if you're someone who drops it a lot or just needs the extra protection. It's worth it.

recently purchased this for my husband's new iPhone. Was kind of hard to figure out how to get it on the phone as it didn't come with any documentation. Once we realized the hard case splits apart, it installed very nicely.

While a little bulky, it's my fifth phone with a defender. Never had any damage and works perfectly!
