I have been using Rotel sporadically for years. I bought a can yesterday for the first time in months, and used it in a soup I was making. I absolutely HATE the taste of cilantro and have never had a problem tasting it in Rotel. Well, something apparently changed because my soup tastes like I threw a bunch of cilantro in it. My husband is allergic to cilantro and he immediately noticed it too. This has NEVER happened with Rotel before.

Good product, it tastes like homemade canned tomatoes. I use this brand of tomatoes in chili and taco soup. No improvement needed. These canned tomatoes have a good flavor and are a healthy alternative to homemade tomatoes. Yes I would recommend to others. 

I like RoTel. I've used it in salsa, tacos and meat sauces. It's an easy alternative to cutting up fresh tomatoes and peppers. I added it to my cheese dip and it was a total hit! I would recommend this and not costly. I have been incorporating it into variety of recipes and so far I'm pleased.

I used this tonight in chicken speghetti it is perfect makes that meal pop! I also love using it in queso and with my speghetti at times. There are so many different recipes you can add this too! Rotel is great in pasta sauces, Mexican dishes, and homemade soups. If you're having a holiday party or just any get together, put some Velveeta cheese in a crockpot and pour a can of any variety of Rotel in and let it melt it will be a crowd pleaser.

I tried the Mexican Style Rotel tomatoes for my Rotel dip last time I made it and it added some extra flavor (spice maybe?) to the dip which I loved! I have also used the regular Rotel tomatoes which were fine, but the Mexican ones were better. But of course, these tomatoes are fine for other things, too, but you can get the slightly cheaper store brand for the same purpose if you just need plain tomatoes.

I bought a can of Rotel original yesterday and went to add it to my recipe and it was almost nothing but water and green Chili’s. Like no tomatoes! So disappointed because I use Rotel all the time and this ruined my dinner plans. Please check into this, because it is not the first time based on other comments. We are on a budget and a lot of times I buy the store brand, but this time I bought Rotel and was SO not happy.

This is my go to add in for a dish that needs just a little something more! It taste great and can put a little bit of love on your taco themed dinner! I love that I can get an extra large can or these smaller ones as needed! I like that I can tell what I’m eating just by looking at it.

The products was very flavorful especially when I used it for rotel dip. The texture is good and taste is perfect . I have a low tolerance for spices and this product did not bother me at all. The product was very delicious. One can goes a long ways.

I am a native Texan and have used Rotel since I was a young child. What is happening with your product? I just used a can to spice up my breakfast eggs. Unfortunately there was no spice, very few chilies, practically nonexistent chili taste. I have used your product for 40+ years and until now I have never been opened a can that didnt have that signature Rotel taste. I dont know what youre doing, but you need to fix this problem. I am a loyal customer and I expect you to reward that loyalty by providing a quality product that meets the expectations you have created with your brand and history. If you have changed your recipe then be honest and let your customers know what you have done. If its a quality control problem then please get your act together so I can continue enjoying your product. Otherwise, I will find another product to buy.
