Rotel is a household name and essential for the rotel/velveeta cheese dip served at all my family gatherings. I’m using this can as we speak for a fiesta chicken recipes and the green Chile’s give it just enough kick that the recipe was lacking when used with just diced tomatoes

What can I say, when I need tomatoes with a kick, this is the one I reach for. They are so yummy. I use them in dips, soup, tuna salad. Sometimes, I just spoon some onto a cracker and it it solo. The price is great! Especially when you're having a party and need several cans for various dips. It won't break the bank

We use Rotel and a lot dishes. We have bought off brands but I found that if you want a flavorful dish, there's nothing else like the real thing here. Other products may be cheaper but remember, you get which paid for, and sometimes it's just not worth it.

Bought 4 cans 2 months ago in FL and attempted to use them in a recipe. Noticed no green chilis so tasted from the can and then checked the contents...no green chilis in the whole can and no bite whatsoever. Usually, Rotel original is our goto for easy velveeta queso. We had a terrible can that had no green chilis and tasted sour/bad NOT RIGHT. The can says it was "best by apr 26 2024" I hope we don't get sick. Please explain what's going on with your product. 2105221720rt15:20h1 is the number on the lid.

For years I’ve use Rotel tomatoes in meals. In the last few months, something has changed (July 2023 ish). Now dishes made with these tomatoes cause irritation and swelling on my lips and gums. I tried other canned chili tomatoes and no problem. So Rotel isn’t what it used to be. I hate that I can no longer buy them. PS, I’m from Louisiana, so hot foods are my fav.

I love Ro-Tel tomatoes. They can go in most anything and add pizzazz. Of course, there’s the classic Ro-Tel cheese dip, but, these days, I generally use this pepper and tomato mix when cooking a pasta sauce, vegetable soup or anything else that would go for tomatoes. They add oomph whether I’m cooking from scratch or jazzing up something out of a jar.

After years of using most of the varieties if Rótel I can highly recommend the mild one to be in the safe side. It gives to a twist to charro beans, ground beef and cubed beef stew, make a quick salsa, add some Extra ingredients, and can’t forget the nacho cheese. One thing that I would love to see as improvement is the easy open can, not there yet.

Bought this 28 oz can today (lot# 2105128429JZ22:04J) for my white chicken chili. Well I guess I know where all the Chiles went that people are saying we're missing from their can. I always drain first without removing the top. It seemed that there was too much liquid draining. When I dumped a light seeming can it was about 1/4 full of only Chiles. That's right folks I got your Chiles and you got my tomatoes.

Everyone who has ever made Rotel dip knows the taste. The Rotel has just the right amount of heat and seasonings to make a delicious treat for everyone at your party/potluck. So often when you buy products like this, you have to doctor them up. Not Rotel. It's a classic taste that everyone loves and you'll never have leftovers when you use it.
